What do you guys do for skin care?
So far all I do is clean with facial soap and moisturize every day.
Looking into getting something with retinol, anyone have any experience with it? Any other recommendations?
I don't really have bad acne other than the occasional pimple. Mostly looking for something to keep my face smooth and hydrated and wrinkle free

The prescription. Fucking incredible. At the strongest strength it'll accelerate collage formation so much your old skin just flakes off
how would you get a prescription for that?
any negative side effects?

Irrelevant and unnecessary.

I use it most nights and then moisturise. It's the patrician tier

I use Aquaphor + Aloe Vera. Is this okay Jow Forums?
the powder is more potent than the liquid
Aha cleanser > aha toner/witch hazel toner> vitamin C cerum > snail bee essence > retin a > moisturizer + spf in that order
Dermaroller on face 1.0mm every 4 weeks, 0.25mm every couple days
Differin
Just buy ascorbic adic powder and mix some in your moisturizer before applying. Saves cash and it's more effective.

Why would doctors give a shit about my pimples lol
retinol makes my hair dry and brittle. apparently it's from too much vitamin a
Differin isn't a real retinoid, I wouldn't use it unless I had high sensitivity to retinoids.
I used the highest strength differin for about 2 years but found 0.04% retin a micro to actually be less irritating and then worked up to 0.1%
buy it off one of those bitcoin pharmacy sites
dont use any alcohol based products on face or soap just water when i shower
take collagen supplements, resveratol, sleep a lot
Tretinoin/retin A is great and not too expensive now. You can get it for like 30 bucks a month online.
Are those btc sites legit
takes a while but its cheap
So is moisturizer really all that important? It seems like a contradiction to use in the case of treating acne
>skins clogged up
>cleans skin
>puts moisturizer to clog skin again
they key is to clean your skin well before applying moisturizer so dirt and bacteria arent trapped in the the pores under the moisturizer.
Also use a light, water based moisturizer and it wont clog pores as much. Pic related
Yes. Washing your face to remove debris, dead skin, and oil is important. But it dries out your skin and your skin will produce even more oil to compensate. You can avoid this by moisturizing. I use Neutrogena Norwegian Hand Cream for my face and it works great. You should also be applying sunscreen on top of that after it dries. Really high spf sunscreen.
Cool thanks broskis. I'll pick some up next paycheck
Alcohol as a ingredient is actually safe and fine of used properly. There's much worse stuff for your skin people use and think it's safe.
Don't just pick up the first thing you find. Run it through cosDNA to check the ingredients.
I recommend CosRx honey overnight mask. You can use it as a normal moisturizer, not just a mask. It has a pretty decent ingredient list as well. It's less than 20 bucks too.
Been on this for 3 months still have acne and super fucking dry skin
