Does Jow Forums get enough sleep?
>constantly 4 hours
I feel like shit right now because that's house much i slept i wouldn't be able to do this multiple times a week
What app is this?
When I worked I could get through the day with 7 hours of sleep without problem
Now that I'm a neet I can sleep 8-10 hours and still be sleepy
Why
No. Takes 1 hour to fall asleep regardless the time, and I wake up 3-5 times a night. Avoiding caffeine doesn't help, avoiding electronics before going to sleep doesn't help, melatonin doesn't help, pretty much nothing short of being able to sleep in on weekends helps
Depression

Fitbit
Do cardio or move around and have a consistent sleep schedule
I used to take zzquil (bad for gains) to sleep at the same time every day and use an alarm to wake up which really helped i get sleepy at the same time now and wake up on time without an alarm
>taking some retarded fitness elective because it fills a requirement for my major
>can't fall asleep until 2:00
>wake up at 7:30 to shower, eat breakfast, and commute
>sit in traffic for a while
>get to class
>professor is droning on about boring basic level shit
>sitting in the back
>accidentally start nodding off and end up falling asleep
>she comes up to my desk and bangs on it repeatedly
>at the end of class goes on a rant about lazy people while staring directly at me
>class is supposed to end at 8:50
>she goes on until 8:55
I really wasn't expecting that. It's not even like it's a small class and I wasn't being disruptive. I shouldn't have fallen asleep, but I thought the way she was acting was obnoxious.
TL;DR: I didn't get enough sleep
Usually between 8-7. Not bad
I get about 6 hours per night and that's all you need
>He thinks I sleep at all
>I'm not going to make it
My problem is I never sleep a full night
I get about 7 but keep waking up in the middle of the night for a piss.
Between 8 and 9 a day religiously since I started lifting.
My progress is still garbage.
I've slacked these past two days however.
>tfw work is ruining my sleeping schedule
>sleep every night for like 3 or if i'm lucky 4 hours
>get home from work
>sleep another 2
>repeat everyday until weekend
>inb4 just don't sleep after work and you'll fall asleep like a baby later
i literally can not end the night before 1am, i feel like it's a wasted day and since i already have so little free time i tend to enjoy every minute that i get
Can it actually tell if you're sleeping? Or do you record whatever you guess you slept manually?
I get between 6.5 and 7.5 hours. I feel much better than when I got 2-3 one night and 14-15 the next night (worked nights)
8 hours a day, would like to be more comfortable with 6 or 7 honestly. I'm just naturally sleepy.
What's your reasoning for not avoiding napping again
Sleep at 11p.m., wake up at 9a.m. Every night. Usually wake up around 4 for half an hour or so. Feels great man
I'm having trouble functioning on less than 9 hours of sleep. WTF is going on? I feel fucking great after nine hours but any less than that and I lose that "killer instinct". I eat a ton, lift heavy 4 days a week, cardio 2 times a week, and work 45 hours a week. I would love to find a way to high function on less sleep.
I pretty consistently get nine hours of sleep. I can function on less, but nine seems like the right balance for me between getting enough rest and recovery while still not being too long for that sort of sleep exhaustion that people get.
No amount of sleep helps the crippling depression. The more you sleep, the worse it is
You might just be like me and be one of those unlucky people who needs more sleep.
Do you get brain fog like I do when you start cutting the hours lower? That shit sucks.
I think my bed is shit or something, I keep waking up all the time for no apparent reason. A few days ago I woke up and my shoulders popped with the illest fucking sound, that has to indicate something. My body also feels like shit until I get up for a few minutes.
ya, I get brain fog for sure. low motivation and lack of enthusiasm if under 9 hours. Is needing 9 hours alpha? please say yes.
how do these apps know how much you sleep? wtf
I try, but it's hard to get my 8-9h when I have to wake up at 06:30 and come back from the gym around 21:30.
I usually get between 6 and 7 hours of sleep.
I also have this issue, it’s hard for me to get a full night’s sleep cause I have this spring in my bed that pokes up into my back. I’d like to sleep on my back more but I have to throw a pillow over it and sleep on my stomach. Maybe having a foam mattress pad will help out with this, but I prefer sleeping on a firm mattress.
Sometimes I also have to get up in the middle of the night to piss, even though I pee out everything I can before I go to bed. After that I take 15-30 minutes to fall back asleep which makes me feel like shit when I get up in the morning a few hours later.
I'll sleep for 6-7 hours every night but never feel rested.
I dunno, I don't really care about that kind of shit my dude.
Sleep on the floor every now and then, try to stick to your back.
Right before you lose consciousness you turn on sleep mode and turn it off once you leave sleep. EZPZ
Reminder that getting PRECISELY 5.7 hours of sleep is just as good as the recommended 7-8.
You dont even have to do that. It can tell when you're sleeping automatically because of the drastic resting HR drop.
