I know people will say this and you'll think you're already doing it, but you're not: EAT MORE. I used to be skinny as fuck but when I cared as much about eating as I did lifting I started putting on weight. Went from 135 to 165 in 4 months.

Keep eating user, you'll progress a lot faster. And I dont mean McDonald's or bullshit you throw in the micro for 3 minutes.

Eat real food, eat a good amount of it to meet your caloric needs, train hard, take adequate rest to recover and you'll see results my friend.

He’s got the right sentiment, but I say do both of them. Eat quality whole food as much as you can but I’m assuming eating lots is hard for you, eat McDonald’s or whatever easy calories you can get to add mass on quick. You will see a fuck ton of gains eating ~500+ cals over what you need everyday. Slow down on the McDonald’s and shit later once you have actual mass on you.

Try to focus on weight gain user. Don't worry about becoming bloated or fat, I'm the same height as you but 140lbs and still look skinny, though noticeably wider and bulkier than you. Try to get up to 140 and you can stay lean but have decent gains

Been lifting for the better part of 8 years off and on. Got back in it seriously for over a year now, can't seem to put on any more mass than pic related. Also I think I have slight gyno or minor pec fat that can't seem to shake off.

Just one or two weeks in to seriously committing to the Jow Forums life. 5'9", ~140 lbs.
I have Cystic Fibrosis so I need to intake about x1.5 as many calories compared to the average Joe. Anyone have any good tips for that? I usually only eat about two full meals a day, and am rarely hungry.

4 and a half months into bulk after years of no lifting
My numbers are so shit and I'm really demoralized.
70kg bench
60kg squat
60kg dead
And yet I curl 40kg biceps. If I load for below 6 rep range on the main 3 everything fucking starts to hurt. Wrists, left elbow and tricep for bench. Lowerback and knees for dead and squat. Started doing more volume instead of purely just piling on more and more weight. Any advice friends?

Just take a breather, review everything and watch a couple fitness vids to escape the tunnel vision. I Know you can do it!

Looking good to me at that weight user, maybe hit arms harder and isolate core a bit, word of warning though as a fellow 5’8 do not overbull ever I fucking hate losing lbs at this cursed height.

Would agree I tried doing SS, but simply could not support the diet and my 3x5 routine ground to a halt.
