I'm sick of being fat and single on yet another valentine's. The diet starts NOW. I'm going to be fit and fabulous and have at least one boyfriend next year.

I was thinking of kicking off my diet with a lot cal keto regime. Is this diet safe? Something like 800kcal a day but mostly fat, some protein and minimal carbs.

1200 a day is about as low as a person not used to fasting can safely go. If you go lower research properly and take snake juice, supplements etc so you don't die. Also post tits.

Eat NO MORE THAN 30-40% of your total calories in carbohydrates. Get enough protein and good quality fat. Eat a REASONABLE CUT, 300-500kcal/daily.
Get regular, consistent, daily exercise.
Recalc your TDEE every so often so you continue to eat a reasonable deficit.
Then come back in 6 months and tell us how much weight you lost.
IT IS THAT SIMPLE.

Forget meme """diets""" that are not sustainable over the long term. You must CHANGE YOUR LIFESTYLE if you want to not be fat anymore and STAY not fat.

Dude, 1 proton is 6 calories so even if 80% of your diet is proton then u are getting way too little protons.

Just get a slow cooker and boil out those calories. I've been eating cake with zero calories because I simply cook shit out.

I went from 325 to 222 in 1.5 years doing one meal per day and keto.

A slow cooker will become your best friend. In the morning before work I put onions, garlic, loads of veg and either beef or chicken in a slow cooker. By the time I come home I've got a nice soup/stew to munch on. One meal per day is hard at first but you get used to it after a week.

Cheat as little as possible. Maybe once every 2 weeks. There is nothing worse than being strict on your diet for 6 days in the week, cheating on a sunday and gaining back the fat you lost in the week. What a big fat fucking waste of time. You're not a dog, you don't need treats. Once I managed to get this concept into my thick skull my weight loss fucking sky rocketed.

Long term weight loss is painful, I wouldn't wish it upon anyone my worse enemy, especially if you are a comfort eater like I am. It is a long, painful road full of suffering. Don't worry though, after a while you will start to enjoy the suffering. I might be a sick fuck but I enjoy the suffering now, if I'm not suffering I don't feel right.
