Is that you? Cut that crap off.
Does it even matter at this point?
OOF
I'm 19 and balding too but not that much just NW2
yesterday
Of course it does. I don't want to be bald. Currently I somehow manage to own this look, but if my hairline recedes further, it will be over.
I saw this pic like 2 months ago.
>if my hairline recedes further
where do you see it? where else do you think it can go? its fucking gone
i know youre not even OP since this pic is old but if youre in a similar situation JUST FUCKING SHAVE IT DUDE
you can't be serious. you ARE bald.
It looks terrible already, people already consider you bald. I don't even think this is real because 19 is way too young for it to recede that far.
Questions though:
>How shit is your diet, do you eat a lot of junk and sugar?
>Do you wash your hair often?
>Do you exercise in one way or another often, or did you in High school?
>How often do you masturbate and when did you start doing so?
sorry bro its over for you. i'm coming in close behind you
Sorry for your loss. Have you tried buzz cut?
>I somehow manage to own this look
thats wrong though, you look like a fucking molester
I thought this was a picture of a horse's ass from the thumbnail
That's disgusting.
Shave that shit.
Same. That's why I even clicked this thread.
Me by the way OP's head literally more disgusting than a horse's ass.
looking great, keep the hairstyle
>i own this look
you already lost it. just man up and shave that shit already. you look terrible and everyone can see it.
>That hairline
>19
Have you been roiding since the day you were born?
1. Switch to Nizoral Shampoo (2% Keto)
2. Minoxidil (Rogaine) can hold it back but you have to hop on right now and never stop taking it.
3. Finasteride (Propecia) could help regrow some hair but it will probably lower test & other male vitality signs
Judging by your picture, if you want to keep your hair you need all 3, right now, and for the rest of your life.
You will also probably need to finish your hair with castor oil + peppermint/lavender oil (mix the liquid rogaine into this) twice a day.
If none of that works you simply cannot stop it
>how long
around 3 years ago
Two weeks MAX
I got into a bike accident and hair didn't grow back properly in patch similar to your pic.
Shaving my head was only option, being bald (maybe 1 at most) was hard for first month but i think worth it in long run.
Shave your head user. It's not a matter of weather you want to, you need to.
>Currently I somehow manage to own this look
Please post a picture of how your hair looks normally
>19
I hope this is bait
>meme shit
Stop giving him hope.
say it with me guys
L A R P
All cost tons of money while razor is for 1$
jokes on you
Cope, enjoy wasting precious time.
>How long until I lose my hair?
If that pic is you, you lost it years ago.
Being bald in infinitely better than balding
what does it mean?
I shaved my shit off and never look back. Doesn't take much time to shave your head with a straight razor, maybe 5 extra minutes after the morning shower and you don't even need to do it daily, it's gonna look ok for at least three days.
You can do it much faster with special razors for bald heads, literally in less than a minute, but I don't really see the point in my case
Come on man. I've tried BIC razors, they're are nice as walking on semi melted broken glass, would recommend just getting a decent razor, and keep it dry, or use them cheap but decent razor shops
>horse's ass from the thumbnail
Same same
For Christ sake shave that turd
Never mind.
Good point.
KEK THIS GROWN ASS NIGGA IS BALD
Oh fug
Boys gimme the scoop
>Also 19
>Hair greasy as fuck within hour if I don't nuke it with shampo
>Scalp irritated and itchy as fuck
>Lose hair literally all of time, adjusting my hair, even just kinda flipping my head to the side will yield a few
>Hair thinned quite bad since mid summer or so
The fuck am I supposed to do
Not OP but I got a mild Widows peak and my dad went bald early so I fear it will come sooner than I want it to. I'm 20 years old. Answers to your questions:
Yes I eat a lot of sugar I'm a skinny boi on a bulk so I eat anything basically
I wash hair 3x a week after my workout
I used to play a lot of soccer and running and now I do a lot of walking and gym
I masturbate at least once a day started from 13
Jesus my habits look fucked up fml but it is what it is. Give it to me straight lad, am I fucked? Also is there evidence to how masturbating and food and washing hair etc affects baldness?
i think its time for you to leave 'lad'
you've got to buzz that hair off, expose your scalp to some air and sunlight.
>Hair greasy as fuck within hour if I don't nuke it with shampo
>Scalp irritated and itchy as fuck
Sounds like you're nuking the fuck out of your hair with shampoo and your scalp is getting irritated/your hair is getting greasy earlier to compensate as a result
Use shampoo less often and switch to one that doesn't have sulfates
Shave it off
I stopped loosing hair after 21, it started at about 18 I think. Ended up a stage 2 receded hairline.
You could gamble and not nuke your body with test killing chemicals and hope it stops, but only if your male family members have decent hairlines. Do check your diet though, if you don't get enough vitamins you will loose hair regardless. Also this and this I was wearing caps and beanies for the better part of the day during my high school years, and had a shit diet because I was poor, which was probably the leading cause to my hair loss. But my father had shit hair genetics so its a 50/50 mystery.
I suffered from seborrheic dermatitis and it sounds like you are too. My temples are receded, but all covered with small hairs (not slick bald).
•Some carbs and dairy accelerate baldness.
•There are some shampoos that irritate the scalp and make it oily.
•Exercise may prevent baldness.
•Don't know how great is the increase in DHT and prolactin after an orgasm.
LAUGHING MY FUCKING ASS OFF
How important is Vitamin D for hair loss? My hairline seems like it's been the same forever but my hair in general has just gotten somewhat thinner, I'm inside literally all the time and eat like shit so I think it might be nutrition related
>Some carbs and dairy accelerate baldness
What the fuck? My diet is very dairy heavy and sometimes carb heavy - got any links to support this?
hair systems have come a long way. they are indistinguishable from now. look at some youtube videos.
HOLY FUCKING KEK JUST CAME HERE TO POST THIS
>19 years old
NO NO NO NO NO NO
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
For referring had been doing no poo since like 15, showering daily and washing thoroughly with just water. The irritation and loss started way before and I had to start using shampoo because my hair would look like a couple of wet greased up liquorice vines after an hour or two.
So seborrheic dermatitis, gimme a rundown
Everything you ingest will fuck you up in some way.
They somehow found out that special flakes (rice wheat cereal) gives you high risk of kidney stones while milk neutralizes risk of kidney stones.
I'd be more worried a bout rectal cancer though, milk drinker.
Your hairs BEEN lost my guy
>somehow manage to own this look
This can't be real
Studies about MPB and dairy and carb consumption? There aren't any, but:
1. High glycemic load carbs increase DHT and may cause insulin resistance. Insulin resistance has been linked to MPB.
2. Dairy increases DHT and IGF-1, which also increases DHT. IGF-1 has also been linked to MPB.
3. Both increases in DHT and IGF-1 are potent enough to cause acne, so I would guess it is the same with baldness.
>So seborrheic dermatitis, gimme a rundown
Sounds like doctor shit user
Go see a dermatologist
>Dairy increases DHT and IGF-1, which also increases DHT. IGF-1 has also been linked to MPB.
Perhaps that's why my hairline has been receding so much faster ever since I got in shape. A quick story:
>Was fatass for first 26 years of life
>Got into shape by eating a high protein diet with lots of chicken, whole milk, and greek yogurt
>Lost 79 lbs
>Eventually my whole diet changed from processed trash to nearly nothing but whole ingredients (not paleo though)
>All the while my dairy intake remained high, with me having a minimum of 3 servings of dairy per day
>Went from a NW1 at 26 to a NW3 now that I'm a 30 year old boomer
why
t. lactose intolerant shitskin
This is the baitest of baits, desu.
•Seborrheic dermatitis is caused by DHT.
•I used Nizoral to treat it
•Supposedly it has no cure, but I haven't relapsed since quitting dairy and HG load meals.
•I went to a trichologist and a dermatologist. They told me that my hairline, though receded, is supposed to thicken.
Pic related, but not me. My temples are worse.
F. Did any member of your immediate family lost his hair at around that age?
My temples have only gone to NW1 and a bit level but everything has thinned considerably on the top. Is their any point seeing a gp about this or do I need to go straight to a derm? I live really far out in the sticks so if I can avoid the drive I'd like to
Nope.
Older brother is in his 30s with a juvenile hair line. Father never had a receding hairline but rather thinning all over. The ONLY person in my family with a receding hairline was my maternal grandfather who lost it in his early 40s.
Is the top the only part of your scalp that is irritated and itchy?
Well, perhaps dairy was the culprit.
>How long until I lose my hair?
in 2017
Specific parts of the sides and back are too, but the major hair loss is happening up top and from my entire scalp.
Yes, I would go to a trichologist if I were you because you are losing most hair only on top, but the sides and crown are also itchy and irritated.
I went for my hair loss concern, but I self medicated with Nizoral for my seborrheic dermatitis.
>19
its over my dude, no going back. shave it off and start taking creatine for better muscle results
Either shave or save about 15 grand for a transplant.
Are you saying it's a bad sign as in this shit should be all over my head instead of affecting to top more?
just shave, go bald and look like the rock
bro its already gone just shave that fucking mess and move on with your life. grow a beard if u can
>save about 15 grand for a transplant
It's not that simple my man. I decided to shave my shit off when I turned 30 just because hair transplant is not a final solution, it just temporarily helps you to keep coping. And I have more then enough to spare on the HT, so money is not the issue here
Yes. When I went to the dermatologist, they used a dermascope and only the areas affected by SD suffered from thinning and were itchy, oily and inflamed.
>not a final solution
If that is true, which I doubt, the just shave it off. If not even a HT can help you, then there's no use in thinking anything else will.
>If that is true, which I doubt
You can doubt as much as you want, but I wouldn't give my hair up so easily if there is a chance to permanently fix it. Even Hollywood stars, who do HTs all time, give up and shave it off eventually. Hell, even billionaires rarely do HTs. Elon got a great transplant, but it's all smoke and mirrors IRL and you will need another one, and then another one until you exhaust your donor zone and shave it off in 10-20 years anyway.
This life-long coping just not my style, I'm not a celebrity who's got nothing but appearance.
He's right, you know. The only reason why TH outlives the non-TH is because it was previously free of any galea tension.
You've got a few good years left
So what you're saying is it's futile unless you start fin right away, otherwise shave. Then why is HT so prevalent nowadays if it doesn't fix shit?
toxic
shave it off faggot oh my god its fucked
No, it's the best hairlets have, but even then, it won't last forever, only a long time.
Fucking hell, my Alzheimer's-ridden, near-vegetable of an 80 year old grandfather has a considerably better hairline than you. He wears adult diapers, but I'd argue that's a better look than what you're sporting
>Continued Loss of Existing Hair: A hair transplant would not stop your existing hair from continuing to fall out. It means, even though the newly implanted hair should last a lifetime, it does not mean that the hair surrounding it will. So, it is really important to maintain your hair even after a hair transplant.
>Hair Transplant Density Depends on Donor Capacity: Your donor area capacity will limit how many hair follicles can actually be used in hair transplant surgery. It means, a large donor area with plenty of hair will offer more grafts to use for a hair transplant. However, if your donor area is sparse, you may require to adjust your expectations for density or coverage.
>Risks: Just like any other kind of surgery, hair transplantation has some risks, including bleeding and infection. Around the time new locks begin to grow, some people have inflammation or an infection of the hair follicles, known as folliculitis. Antibiotics and compresses can get you relief from this problem.
>Shock Loss: It is also possible to lose suddenly, some of the original hair in the area where you got the new strands, known as shock loss. However, this is not a permanent hair loss.
>Scarring: There are chances for scarring and unnatural-looking new hair growth in some cases.
>Post hair transplant, most individuals will see 60% of new hair growth after 6 months to 9 months. Some medications may also be prescribed for quicker hair growth after the transplantation. However, when we talk about how long does hair transplant last, it would be pretty good to mention that about half of the patients would possibly require one more hair transplant within 10 years of the first procedure. So, a majority of patients undergoing the hair transplant, lose more hair in the long term. There are few reasons for this on why hair transplant does not last for some of the patients.
So it depends on when you do it, how much donor hair you have and if you take the meds.
>is it's futile unless you start fin right away
Fin can help to slow down your hairloss, but:
1. It doesn't work for everyone
2. It just slows down what meant to happen, it doesn't cancel it
3. Potential side effects can be pretty nasty. Some of them even permanent
4. Not many people want to commit to daily expensive medicine for life
>Then why is HT so prevalent nowadays
It does help with masking. Sometimes pretty good actually. Most of the people prefer to cope rather than accept and embrace, such is a human nature. Look at all fatties and general losers who will come up with a million excuses rather than just accepting the truth a do the right thing.
Check out this video as an example, 0:17-0:30 in particular.
youtu.be
Also, to be honest, not everyone can rock a bold look. If you're sissy soiboi then yes, a HT path can probably gonna be better for you.
>All the people ITT falling for obvious bait
Wtf happened to Jow Forums? Was 90% of the population replaced with newfags from Reddit?
Just shave your head it's not as embracing as balding
If thats you the question you should be asking is "When will I accept that I've lost my hair?"
shave it all off or buzz it to a 1
get contacts if you have glasses
grow a nice mustache and shave everything else on your face nice and clean
get fucking jacked and juicy
>I somehow manage to own this look
Just stop op
fucking kek
Diffuse thinning is hell, it doesn’t leave you with much options except a short buzz. I wish I had darker hair so my head stubble would show up more, but at least I don’t stare in the mirror for hours a day destroying myself since now there is nothing to fiddle with. Do I at least have a good head shape for this shit? Got to get used to it for the rest of my life. I’m 25 and this is a #1 guard
>inb4 soi
Yes I’m aware lmao, Glasses are just so much easier to deal with compared to contacts imo
That's just MPB and you have a good profile head shape.
>Do I at least have a good head shape for this shit?
You have literally the best possible shape for the bold look (buzz is not bold btw). I have a skull of a gay alien from outer space and still prefer to be bold than bolding
Trim that scraggly beard though. Head shape is fine, but your unkempt beard really drags down the overall appearance. Especially that area below your ears.
You'll be fine.
I usually wait 3 months in until I get a first proper beard trim. This is about 1 month in. Yeah the area below the ear is messy. It definitely looks a lot more scraggly in the pic vs. real life though
thanks mates, you've given me head hopes
