Whats your opinion on weighted clothing? I am an engineering student trying to raise my grades and I haven't had a lot of time to hit the gym. My campus is huge and I do a lot of walking so I was thinking that I could just wear some extra weight to get more exercise out of just going about my normal routine.
And it could be a plus for when I get my schedule under control and start going back.
Whats your opinion on weighted clothing...

>hur dur train like goku XD
god as much i love dragonball they popularized this retarded shit, dont EVER fuck with weighted clothing, especially anything that goes on the ankles or wrists
the vests arent bad, if you're planning on joining the military
its a stupid fad, it even has crossfit in the name
Bruh, go back to bed and sleep off whatever shit made you spew out that word salad brainfart.
great if you wanna irreparably fuck up your joints
bro, carrying around that stomach of yours is all the added weight you need
Lies. My knees must bear the same pain my heart does.
you can use them for pull ups, dips, push ups and rows but don't even dare using it with cardio
I used 1lb wristbands for like 4 years. Its not much but at that weight it builds some good strong wrists.
>wear this to school because autistically dedicated to exercise despite knowing nothing about good programming
>told to stop bc looks like a bomb vest
>bring DB to school instead
>can’t, it’s a weapon
>do calisthenics around school
>told off
>ride bike to school in sports uniform to keep normal one clean
>given detention every time I do for WEARING SPORTS UNIFORM OUTSIDE PE
>teacher reveals he also wears one
>they try to make him stop but refuses
>used to train 7 hours a day in high school (martial arts, PE, Gym, etc)
>literally got better results in every factor except maybe fat loss from doing SL
Fuck I hated that high school. Anyway, they’re a waste of money. I used for many different training methods and seriously it’s not worth it. No injuries or anything but it’s just tiring with no real obvious benefit.
hehe like goku or rock lee
Do some tabata workouts if you're just looking for general fitness. Weighted gear is fine but used over a long enough time it fucks with your joints and is more destructive
than it is beneficial
I wear one. I also wear an SCBA when I stairclimb train. It does work, but its low intensity shit. Slow and deliberate movements. I do it because I get paid to do it, but it's not bad. Just no running or jumping.
It’s fine for walking or shit like lunges and all that. Your an idiot if you attempt jogging or running. I own one goes up to 120 lbs. I got it because I enjoy walking immensely and wanted to make it tougher.
>>told to stop bc looks like a bomb vest
ahaahhaha american/10
also who wears weighted vests in their normal day how retarded and autistic are you guys
>workout camouflage
I’m Australian. Retarded comment likely valid tho
Do this come with a gravity room? Gotta train at 500G otherwise I'll never be able to overcome gokuu.
Would a weighted vest be useful for decline situps?
Makes you look like a freak beast doing dips, I have a 30kg one and it's pretty skitz
just watch this
youtube.com
this dude is a faggot
you must be over 18 to post here
>Looks like a bomb vest
American poster 101
as long as you don't load your joints directly this honestly seems like a good idea. 2 mile walk with 20 lb vest. yep i can definitely see it.
weighted vests are probably less detrimental to your joins and bones than squatting and deadlifting now that i think about it
Not everyone is a weeb loser that knows about dragonball user
situps? You mean squats?
>school uniforms
Unless he was one of those queers that went to Catholic school and got taught by boy-molesting fruits, the uniforms make it sound more like a Britbong school.
Then it seems that reddit is more of your home. Jow Forums is and always will be a site dedicated to animus.
You certainly have to be careful when training with weighted clothing.
Weighted vests can be a good way to train for carrying a heavy pack as you can ergonomically add enormous amounts of weight in a way far more comfortable and balanced than a pack. But don't do acrobatics
Weighted apparel are good only for calisthenics.
Walking/rucking with them is if you want to join a military force, because it fucks your back a bit if your not well conditionned.
Just get a plate carrier, you can use it during the upcoming race war too
Completely debunked. It just puts stress on your joints. Work toward bigger lifts and stop doing meme shit.
What about holding dumbbells while on the treadmill?
So can I wear a full weighted set of clothes shirt/pants/shoes for extra gains?
>1 hour a day at the gym
Versus
>walk around with an autism vest all day
Idk OP which one sounds easier?
Kek
Think about it like this - are overweight people that much stronger all around? No, they really aren't. Their cores and legs are a bit stronger than people who are lighter, but not like how a normal-weight person who lifts weights will be. Do fat people have better cardio just because they carry more weight? No, they don't. What they do have that you'll have in common in chronic joint pain and damage, and you may also have issues with alignment they may not if you wear it wrong.
It's not going to be completely zero, but the benefits won't be much different than just being overweight/gaining more weight in terms of physical fitness.
