Yes
Meme

My dad was in shit health after years of working in big corporations and he cut about 15 kgs and is in peak health being 56 years old now affter two years of regular, persistent biking so yeah it works.

Wops

I BMX, single speed, hard gear ratio - yep it helps with my cardio and also leg strength.

And seeing as I'm never sitting on the saddle, no floppy cock either

Depends at what level you bike. It's a simple machine, so it's doing part of the work you could be doing--so if you're lazy, it's not great.

Bike guy was about to be mugged by a the motorcycle guy.

The guy died, people in the car are in prison for murder.

Sauce?

started doing saddle-less riding on a resistance bike, working on my power output. how much did it help your leg strength? can't really squat because knee issues, so interested to know how helpful it is.

It's good, I've been making consistent cardio gains by adding a good stretch of biking to my workouts.

I recommend doing running or swimming in addition though, there's something about just *only* using your legs for cardio that doesn't prepare you for actually having to be fit while doing things outside the gym.

This is so funny for some reason.

the guy died of no fault of his own it is pure evil

Same difference.

Not him, been trying to google it and found this:

No info on whether the cyclist survived or not though...

About to buy a hybrid for this summer. I shoot for 15 mile rides after work when the weather is nice and I do 20-30 mile rides on the weekend. May be trying to beef those numbers up a bit. There aren’t many good trails in my area which is disappointing

Quads and ass really get a work on the hills.

Doesn't work your upper body/torso like squats though.

You need hills if you want any sort of workout.

Flat cycling does not work you much further than basic fitness.

What's floppy cock m8?

This is the person that tells you that you're dyel

Post body.

I live in the Midwest so there are no hills. And basic fitness is fine I also lift

¡Mama mia!

That's some medieval shit, man.

Yes. Consider my case:
I was a 6’6’’ 390lb fatass for most of the time between college (where I did sports) and about 5 months ago. I still lifted, but a deeper part of me knew that there was no point in it because I was fat. I couldn’t see any definition anyway.

I bought a bike in October and it’s been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. On top of being great cardio, I can see so much and ride so far. It’s amazing. I would absolutely recommend bicycling.
Today, I weigh 350 and am looking forward to the day where I’ll weigh around 315, my goal weight.

As far as fitness, my resting HR has went from ~85 to ~55BPM. Some days when I wake and check it it’s in the 40BPM range. Many folks have complimented me, asking if I’ve been lifting, etc.

Good job user, sounds like you have added years of longevity to your cardiovascular system.

Good for you, friend. I've lived without a car for 2 years and had a bike for about 1.5 of it. Has been great for me. Won't work for everyone to live with this kind of limitation though.

>Flat cycling does not work you much further than basic fitness
Maybe if you're slow.

Even on flats, if you can still walk after a ride then you didn't push yourself hard enough
