Monday-Friday I eat clean as fuck and lift 3 times. At the weekends I drink beer, diet goes out the window, and I do no exercise. For this reason I've been stuck in a slow-moving progress that is starting to piss me off now.

How the fuck do you make it while still having some kind of social life? To truly make it do I need to just stop drinking and stick to my clean eating 7 days a week?

deadlift: 308lbs/140kg - 3 x 8
benchpress: 210lbs/95kg - 3 x 8

protein: 150g a day
carbs: 100g a day
fat: 30-40g a day

as far as goals, i've got a pretty big frame/wide shoulders and definitely look like I lift, but I want to cut the fat down, my body seems to like holding on to it

to clarify my protein generally comes from skinless chicken, protein powders and maybe some beef now and then

my carbs 30g from fruit and the rest from brown rice

I quit drinking for 4 months once and found going out to be pretty boring after a while, everyone else is drunk and I'm just tired from the week's work, maybe i could try quitting again for a while and seeing if it's any better

100g of carbs? Wtf, what are your goals? If its to get bigger and stronger then you need to eat more. Esp for your bench. Just use any calc to workout your TDEE and then add 500cals

I'm already a pretty big guy (in terms of muscle and fat), my goal is to slowly cut fat while continuing to build muscle, I'm willing to take slower muscle growth if it means the fat is slowly cutting down at the same time. I'm an easy gainer, but also hold onto fat a lot too.

Do a 50/40/10.

50% protein 40 carbs 10 fat.

Good for lean gains and you won't always be starving.

Intermittent fasting as well. Wait an hour after you wake up to eat. Intake at least 30g of protein at this point to stimulate fat loss.

Depending on what time of the day you lift dictates when you eat your carbs. I go in the AM so I eat my carbs at breakfast so i have energy to lift heavy. If you lift later, eat your carbs midday so you have time to digest before hitting the gym.

I don't eat until 12pm the next day anyway, but I do then have my 30 grams of fruit carbs with a protein shake, I've always wondered if doing this is taking me straight into fat storing mode

and yeah i eat my carbs (30g from brown rice) about 3 hours before my workout and have 2 bananas about an hour and a half before

Nah, I'm not, I look good in a t-shirt but with the t-shirt off my body fat percentage is way too high, got a lot of fat around the mid section and to the sides of the chest, very little tone at all

grapefruit + protein powder

cup of brown rice and skinless chicken breast

2 bananas and protein powder

post workout protein shake + 1 scoop maltodextrin

dinner will be pan-fried fish, beef, chicken or turkey and either sweet potatoes or a small amount of brown rice
