>person doing front squats incorrectly is a typical front squatter
It checks out.

this you OP? mirin

Both are ugly though

His biceps are too big to do traditional grip.

Is it wrong to do squats with a dumbbell resting on each shoulder?

>implying lowbar shitters are the same as highbar

Just do goblet squats. But you cap out on those pretty soon.

thats not high-bar

yes it is
>pic related, this is lowbar

Attached: chasesquat.webm (640x640, 2.84M)

Thanks mate, I'll get into that.

just because haacks angle is upright, doesnt make it a highbar squat. the bar is on his rear delts.

t. different

How's that incorrect?

Attached: not highbar.png (899x626, 582K)

> angle is upright
the defining feature of a highbar squat. where it lies doesnt matter

yous a dumbass.
high bar and lowbar are defined by the bar placement, nothing else.

i dont understand why you are making a big difference between these two anyways, they are not that different in mechanics, especially when comparing one person to another

yeah ok buddy, keep being wrong.

Real quick form check, Jow Forums

I honestly can't find anything wrong with it but it somehow still feels weird on my lower back. Am I missing something?

Looks good
How does your back feel without the belt?

Bar placement is the most important thing and we cant see that from that video.
Are you pushing the bar in your neck, so that the weight is as close to you as possible? You are keeping your arms high so seems that you are.
Looks fine tbqh.

BAHAHAHAH THAT VIRGIN MANUAL WALK TOWARDS THE RACK HAHAHAHHAHA

Attached: 90634909034690346.jpg (251x242, 15K)

manual walk, do you walk automaticly?

what about this one

Attached: arnold-squat-2_1.jpg (600x400, 62K)

That is the walk of determination.

Lmao are u really this dumb or just trolling

Cringe on all of you.

The best variation is the Zercher Squats and you can't prove me wrong.

>limiting your rom by your arms
top klek

>doing ATG

Never gonna make it

what the fuck are you talking about? you don't need the bar to rest on your fucking neck for it to be high bar.
the main difference lies in the mechanics of the lift
pic related, retard

Attached: clarence-kennedy-260kg-pause-squ.jpg (1280x720, 66K)

It doesn't have to be directly on top of your traps. Lowbar would go even lower, on back delts and the goal of highbar is to remain more upright than you would on lowbar.

>yous a dumbass.
>high bar and lowbar are defined by the bar placement, nothing else.
Ignorance is a bliss, isn't it?

I cant, it hurts my collarbone real bad.

>no guess the best way to squat is putting the weight further and further away from your center of balance
t. retard on his way to snapcity

There's no difference in muscular development besides thoracic/lumbar Erectors you dipshit.

You're both fucking retarded because the defining feature of lowbar vs highbar is 2" on your back and Haack clearly has the bar on his traps not his delts.

agree,
back squats up to 315 lbs, then front squats for the rest of your lifting career

its not

>not having ur arms between ur legs for full range of motion
Never gonna make it
Sorry

Will front squats work about the same muscles that the back one?
Whats the big difference

front = guads
back = buttocks

both work the glutes equally but back squats work hamstrings more

Dubs of truth: name another squat with as much bicep activation, I'll wait.

>Klingon flag in the background
Typical low bar squatter, a fat nerd.

front = thoracic Erectors
back = lumbar Erectors
Anything else is worked the same and anybody saying otherwise is spreading old broscience misinformation.

>recognising the flag
you're not much better
front squats tire my shoulders more than my legs. I did like 1pl8 and had to stop after 10 reps, it wasn't because of shoulders

fucking retarded people on this board jesus christ god dammit

Who added the hit markers lmao

thats not really a traditional highbar. Kinda like a hybrid

indicates damage to hips, knees, and elbows

>Crossed arms
OH NO NO NO

This guy some olympic weightlifter? Never seen him before

Low bar squat had more carryover to front sqaut than any other lifts

Looks okay, but you could bring the barbell just an inch back. Remember, you want the pressure to be evenly distributed on your feet. I always feel like front squat activates my lower back than back.

front squats are good if you suffer from butt wink

i do front squats exclusively these days but I still kind of miss high bar back squats though

>squatting so hard your eyes pop out like a cartoon character

>do Front Squats instead of back squats.

I've started doing these instead because my lower back hurts with back squats (especially low bar). Much better abdominal involvement and fucking destroys my quads. It's a very difficult movement. You're more upright so less pressure on lumbar.

Arnold did both front and back squats

Squat deeper

delet this

Front squats are instagram-level meme exercise.
Try putting a couple 100 kilos on the front of your shoulders like that.

based

>Not doing both
Never going to make it
