Alright Jow Forums I'm a potential migrant from Jow Forums, so bear with my autism.
Anyways, I finally got the courage to ask out my oneitis and she won't even look at me anymore. My one friend recommended I better myself so she regrets it, so I'm thinking of taking the ironpill.
TL;DR Any of you guys have advice on how to force myself to actually exercise? Willpower is my biggest weakness.
there is no such thing as willpower or motivation you dont need ether to go to the gym, just money
just go nobody will talk to you, besides the workers there selling you the membership your gonna buy fuck off
Austin Miller
There is no magic fix. Look at your life and make a list of everything you think is wrong with it, and start fixing those things.
Start with the foundational stuff, diet, sleep, tidyness, cleanliness. Once you have a good base look at fitness, job, recreation, productivity. Try to fix one thing every two weeks. >Fix your nutrition >Tidy your room >Fix your sleep >Tidy your flat >Get a good haircut >Stop playing vidya more than an hour a day >Pick up a hobby >Start doing something productive 1 hour a day >Workout >Dress well >Etc >Etc
Willpower stems from motivation, willpower makes discipline. What keeps you going in the end is discipline, to keep making the choice to work out. Because in the end it's your choice to prove her right, or show her how wrong she was. Watch some Bruce Lee or Arnold speeches, and tell us what you're looking for, to get big or cut down.

This and stop the
>do it for mother europa
So that you don't become more autistic than you already are
Mason Wright
Definitely get big. I've been called noodle-arms before.
Josiah Martin
Just go, faggot. There's nothing in this world that will motivate you to lift. Once you start lifting you'll enjoy it and keep doing it, or you'll force yourself to until one day you stop and then you won't do it again until you somehow get into it again.

Jow Forums is a christian board. Get your degenerate vargon gobble di gook out of here
Oliver Watson
You'll probably never enjoy it and get to the point where it's fun but you can't let that stop you. Muhammad Ali said he hated training but he knew he had to do it to get where he wanted to be. So if you really want to make it you'll just shut up and do it even when it sucks

It was just the first ironpill image I could find to be honest

Ok, so here is the real ironpill. I'll help you out. >Lift weights, train strength, size will follow readily This part will be a grind at first. One of my biggest motivators is seeing physically my progress, particularly when I get a pump in the gym. Lifting heavy weights, having mass, and literally seeing accumulated accomplishment does wonders for genuine confidence.
However, the start will be a grind. If you just force yourself to do it for a month, it'll snowball from there.
It also helps to make friends with the powerlifters at your gym. Most real powerlifters are genuinely autistic failed normies who are coping for some trauma and will understand and relate to Jow Forums guys. However, this social community is temporary because ultimately pure strength training, much like pure bodybuilding, is a waste of a life.
>move into martial arts such as those made popular through MMA (BJJ, Muay Thai, Boxing, Wrestling, Judo, Sambo) This is where you'll find your real friends and community. The people here both lift weights and are athletic in their training. MMA is where the truest of confidence stems from. Bodybuilders and powerlifters carry themselves around as tough and pride themselves as being beasts or a force to be reckoned with. In reality, they're a bunch of paper tigers who simply don't know how to fight but want to look like it.
Completing the process of confidence is learning that strength is one component and this is the final component. Even though you won't actually get in street fights for the most part, you can confidently assert yourself socially in day-to-day life because you KNOW you can beat someone up. It is something you carry with you and goes from the arrogance bodybuilders/powerlifters have into confidence.
It is worth mentioning that all the turbomanlets (5'3", 5'4") at the UFC have wives, kids, and families and get along just fine.
I guess a question I kinda have is whether or not my complete lack of coordination and reaction speed is gonna get in the way of martial arts? I've won a fight before because I have a high pain tolerance, but I can't hit or throw a ball for my life.
Kayden Brown
Not OP but i have some questions How much conditioning should i do before joining an MMA club? I might be strong but my cardio and muscular endurance are atrocious

Don't worry. If you find a reputable gym that is a real gym and not a "self-defense class" then they'll understand 100% if you're new from the ground up. You're not the first and not the last. There is more than you may think that goes into a fight and even normal athletes will have trouble learning new movements. I had trouble and looked retarded for a couple months but it's normal and that the instructors WANT to help you.
Logan Perez
Do sprinting. MMA gyms will also have you do endurance exercises beyond just drilling and sparring and you can learn those and practice them outside the gym too.
Juan Williams
Wrong.

>Jow Forums >she won't even look at me anymore >the ironpill god the amount of autism in this post is off the charts
You can start with bodyweight then, as I'm assuming you're still a teen with no money focus on getting repetitions of 20 until that feels easy, then start incorporating negatives and pauses until that is easy, then buy a pair of dumbbells or a gym membership assuming you don't want to start doing the more advanced calisthenic exercises. Big thing is diet. Eg if you're wanting to get big read as "no diet" eat eat eat and you'll grow if you're a lanklet that says "I eat so much though" you're a lier I was just like you. Eat more. If you want to "clean" bulk it'll be alot harder for you as you need to eat at a 500 caloric surplus for ~a year to grow muscle and not put on a shitton of fat like you will if you bulk normally, which is why people have cutting and bulking cycles.
Exercises: Push-ups: 20x5 differentiate wide, neutral, close each new time you do them. Eg: neutral one day, wide the next. Pull-ups: 5x5 Powerjumps: 20x5 land and jump from the balls of your feet Hallow hold: 60 seconds repeat 5x 60/120's 10x or 30/60's 10x if you're cardio is shit. Do on rest days.
Kevin Evans
Are good gyms gonna be expensive? I'm not particularly wealthy
William Edwards
Haha. Is there a replacement for pull-ups if I'm too pathetically weak to do them?
Michael Miller
Fugg off we're full
Mason Watson
You can do negatives or jumping negatives, or you can do them from a table so you don't have to lift your full weight.
Chase Fisher
yeah, about $100/month I think
There's nothing wrong with just workout out normally in strength for awhile and then doing MMA secondary. That is what I did.
Zachary Perez
This. Lifting and martial arts is where it's at

Euro here. True Euros want the rest of Europe to burn just like the rest of the world. Muh European culture is a fucking meme brought on by pasty Anglo cucks (not even european, fuck off island niggers) and assorted scandi/germ fags reacting to getting swarmed by niggers by imagining some nonexistent solidarity or common history or tradition.
Daniel Flores
Man forget all memes, start meditation and a PPL program. Stick to it and you will be a new man. You have no spine first of all, what's this meme with bearing with your autism. This is a basket weaving forum man, say what you want. It will also help if you challenge yourself into NOFAP. Pornography has enslaved us.
>willpower is my biggest weakness no wonder you're oneitis rejected you. Get in the gym you lazy fuck and commit. If you need the motivation to go then check out the /mire/ threads and just read all the stories of 8/10's literally drooling over Jow Forums autists who have 18in biceps Hell I'll tell you right now that nothing quite feels as validating as when a girl in a committed relationship hits on you literally just because you have big arms and abs. The best part is if you eat right and lift properly you can literally have this happen to you in 6 months. The change is night and day and not just with women. Men will want to associate with you more, they'll move out of your way and do things to gain your favor. Eventually, you'll find yourself being invited to events/parties that you would've been driven out of before. But with that said you'll only get this if you really want it. That means potentially going through months of plateaus and injuries that set you back and still picking your self up at the end to go to the gym. you've really got to want it.
Henry Ward
The desire to complete any energetically unfavorable act can come and go for me within an instant. You either have it or you don't. You can gain it and you can lose it. I have yet to figure why but these statements have been true throughout my life.
If you’re worried about cash, find a boxing/judo gym before mma. They tend to be cheaper, but still effective
Luke Perry
fuck the bullshit, the real ironpill is that after a good five years of lifting when you look good in a shirt, women will give you slightly more attention than when you were a DYEL sperg, the girl you like will probably be married though. you won't be fulfilled or a chad either. life is gay and then you die.
lifting for women is dumb though and I somewhat hope you fail just so the whole fitness ordeal isn't dragged down by more faggots like you. or better, you do get fit but change your lame attitude along the way once you realize the folly of your ways as revealed by the iron
Luis Murphy
wtf are you on about, you goon, it is painfully clear you dont belong here
Andrew Sanchez
>dating/relationshit thread Go back to you clearly don't belong here.
Cooper Lopez
lifting for women is the catalyst, after some time he will realise on his own that it is a fools quest to lift for women, when he over comes that hurdle he will begin lifting for oneself, and thats when self improvment begins
Jaxson Mitchell
>life is gay and then you die. That’s the only thing that keeps me going, the hope that it must eventually come to an end.
Willpower is a meme. Or at least willpower in the way it is presented in your favourite weeby animu. It's not about yelling at the top of your lungs until you do something unsurmountable. Discipline is something quiet and simple. It is the mere formation of habits.
I don't feel like I'm doing a huge act of willpower when I go to the gym. I don't have to "force myself". It's just something I do because it's there and it's what I do. Like brushing my teeth or washing my clothes.
Jordan Anderson
>blah blah blah blah blah >blah blah blah >blah blah blah blah >blah blah blah blah blah >blah blah blah >How do I work out?
Read the sticky. Google. Research on Youtube. Do anything other than sit on your ass and beg to be spoonfed like what you're trying now.
