How's that spring break cut going?

No visible benefits just yet, but I have been doing lots of cardio lately. Just have to stay consistent.

Not so good, I've plateaued. I've weighed 173lbs for the past month.

I'm not cutting this year

I started cutting then i realized i didnt gain enough muscle. So now im maintaining 175lbs and lifting. Might suicide cut if something comes up that i need to have my shirt off at

>realize i havebeen eating insane amounts of salt
>lose 2kg of water weight in 2 days
>probably will keep losing some more
>face sharper
>body sharper
I don't know whether to feel good about it because I'm looking better or feel bad that I've been this retarded this whole time.

Question: if I eat lean, cut out shitty food etc. while introducing cardio into my routines can I cut fat while still building on muscle? Not anywhere near build enough to do a full cut but would still like slightly lower bf% for summer.

Depends on current level compared to your potential. Rule of thumb, you won't lose muscle by changing your diet to healthy shit and eating when you're hungry. If you're at a level where this doesn't apply, you probably wouldn't be asking here.

I'd like to get in that spring break cu*t if you get what I mean

Just started a week ago, no noticeable difference yet(obviously) but i am extremely motivated.

2nd, 2kg down, supposedly mostly water, 700kcal deficit with 1 CICO budgeted cheat meal a week for an average 3500kcal deficit/week.
19/5 IF or OMAD on non lifting day, most of the time.
Already reset training maxes 10% and cut assistance in half to take it easy. Extended walks as only source of cardio for now.
Aiming to lose 6-8kg more or until i can see the abs for another lean bulk phase.
Focus: high
Hope: high
Gym pain: none
Hunger: none
Strength: equal
Libido: high/same
Boner: SNAFU

2nd week*
Also drinking almost 6L of water

Sure thing brother. AMEN!!!

How do you get past the dreaded plateau? Got back to normal for a couple days then re-start the cut? Just cut harder? Add in a ton of cardio?

>Cutting and bulking
>Not constantly bulking by eating a bunch of food and sprinting to keep bodyfat low

never gonna make it

Spring break sucks for me.

>Spring Break is in March
>Live in Northeast
>Still cold as fuck, sometimes it snows in March
>Can't travel because broke and have job

Post body, I want to see that. No homo.

Should I wait until I hit 1/2/3/4 before I even bother trying to cut? I don’t want to waste all the work I’ve done by just becoming a skinny fag and losing muscle. I’m probably a good 6-9 months from hitting 225 bench comfortably and Imo being an ottormode fag is lame. Why even lift if your not gonna be swole

You can’t be big, lean AND natty bro. Pick two. It’s the unfortunate truth

No clue, I did hella cardio to drop weight, I'll need to start running 5k every day if I need more cardio but that's tiring. I think imma take a couple days off and restart the cut

Your body had adjusted/adapted to your diets/routine. Switch it things around to stimulate/put "stress" on the body to lose weight.

Hitting 1/2/3/4 isn't as much muscle driven than CNS driven. Sure, you need muscle but strength is mostly about your nerves firing and proper innervation.

you got to select whether to increase strength or muscle at some point. If you keep doing 5 reps you wont put on so much muscle as doing 8-12 rep range with lower weight.

I always hear this but it doesn’t make sense to me. Your telling me someone who can 5x5 250 can be smaller than a guy who does 4x12 with 190?

You can gain muscle by doing 5x5 with heavy weights but it won't be as fast. You are prioritizing strength over muscle building. Higher reps AND sets (people away for get it is both not just reps) with lower weight will be optimal for muscle building as it taxes your muscles much more.

Just like weightlifting, you will eventually see the physical benefits, keep going bro.

Doing IF, fasted cardio and lifting. Going breddy gud, no longer a bloatlord, abs starting to show again just barely. Energy in the gym is shit but lifts haven't suffered yet. I'm irritable as fuck until I allow myself to eat, then I am fucking ravenous within my eating window. All in all, going well and not too difficult for a first cut.

Looks like this, dont have a pic of me so youll have to take my word on it

im white too btw

dont you have a phone with a camera?

I'm not young, single or pathetic enough to cut for spring break.

Doing 0MAD
Working out twice a day
Walking an hour or more everyday
Have my eca stack and Natty test boosting and cortisol lowering drugs.
258 - 253 in a week

Need to drop 20 pounds.
Also going to do gear.

197 down to 174. 14 more till goal.

Can’t really say I’m doing anything specifically for spring break but lifts are right around 2/3/4/5 and bodybfat is hovering at about 13% and I have been having a hell of a time getting it lower.

I won't make it in time for spring break, not like I have any plans anyway. I'm aiming for summer.
