3 weeks ago i started lifting and dieting. I weighed 393lbs and today i weighed myself and I'm 373lbs. I still look and feel exactly the same. What should i do? I don't think I'm losing right
3 weeks ago i started lifting and dieting. I weighed 393lbs and today i weighed myself and I'm 373lbs...
Well to put it bluntly, you're still pretty fucking fat at 373 pounds, which I'm sure isn't much more comfortable than 393. But you have to ignore that for now and look at the progress you've made. You lost 20 pounds in 3 weeks thats god damn incredible. Think of the progress you'll make in a matter of months and years if you stick with what you're doing. Stay strong and use that progress as motivation, you'll start feeling the results soon enough.
>was 393
>now 373
>I don't think I'm losing weight
Keep eating healthy foods in reasonable quantities.
Most people aim for 2lbs of fat loss per week and you are losing 7.
I mean i thought i would see some progress by now
youre loosing fat in areas you cant see or didnt notice
your ass or thighs might be slimmer and you dont notice
All ive been doing is lifting and doing that cico bullshit with intermittent fasting.
Pick up a bowling ball. You've already lost that much weight. Keep it up m8, you'll lose more.
Well it's obviously working extremely well so I wouldn't deem it as bullshit
I don't feel like or look like i have though. Im trying to stay motivated but this is fucking with me
>I still look and feel exactly the same. What should i do? I don't think I'm losing right
Don't troll these good people, 20 lbs is great for 3 weeks. You slid down a mountain of fat, climbing it will be slower but fortitude wins the day.
this.
if your body is covered in a blanket of fat tissue, it's going to a while before you see progress around your waits - which is what most people use as a visual standard.
Not trolling
Me at 393
Me at 373
20lbs is a lot of weight to lose.
YOU STILL HAVE A LOT OF FAT. DISPERSED ALL OVER YOUR BODY.
Even when you lose 100lbs, you will still be fat.
You are making a lifestyle change, these things take time. Keep at it.
Yeah man I mean don't troll them through giving up over quite excellent weight loss, I'm envious of your pace. Keep the good work up and don't just measure pounds but also wellbeing!
It'll take a while before you start to change shape, for the next 100lbs or so you'll just become a smaller fat. Best medicine is looking at pictures of yourself a year later because you'll be blown away.
Keep it up brah, we're all gonna make it.
I know. Its just disheartening to not be able to see any changes
That's absolutely noticeable, in a couple months you'll look even better. I hope you come back and show us
I agree, but this is just the hard part. You'll start to see real change soon!
you can do this OP, honestly. It might not be easy but trust me you can. I used to be severely underweight like bones and it would hurt to lay down. As I've been gaining weight I've just been counting the scale and that's it
It's been three weeks bro. I understand it has probably taken a lot of discipline to get this far but you need to get it in your head that you're in this for the long haul. It's not some fucking movie montage where you work really hard for a short time, go from fatass to chad and stacy kisses you on the cheek and then it's back to your normal life. It's a permanent lifestyle change. You need to be process oriented, not goal oriented. Keep doing the right things and in 3 months, 6 months, 1 year etc your future fit self will thank you for choosing not to be a fat fuck. To rip off Chris Haueter, you're going to be somewhere in 5 years, why not be a sick kunt?
You are still at huge fat ass that's why but it's great progress. You'll only be happy and see progress if you keep it up for another 3 months but good work dude. We are all proud of you.
Remember you are only competing against yourself so don't let yourself down.
You.couod set yourself a goal of being a fit meme, that guy who didn't believe himself but pushed through it and got strong and lean.
Thanks guys. We truly are all going to make it
I'm in the same boat as you OP, except I'm not weighing myself.
I'm about 400 lbs, same body shape but 6'1. What's your daily routine? What are you eating
I've lost 77lbs in 3 months. While I recognize a difference in my size (especially clothes) I think my body looks worse now than I did at 330lbs. It's your mind fucking with you, you just gotta push through it.
I'm 6'4 so we're pretty similar. Like i said I'm doing CICO and intermittent fasting. And as far as my gym routine i just follow my friend around do what he tells me
