>stop pressing for a few months, focus on leg and back work >return to pressing and my bench and ohp are better than they ever were >tfw you've broken your limits once again
Is there a better feeling that knowing you've become better than you were before? We're all gonna make it.
People don't seem to realize taking a couple weeks off once in a while is great for gains. They swear up and down that your bench goes down after missing just a week.

Good for you man, keep going.

My dad did a lot of competition bodybuilding in his 20’s and 30’s and he used to say you should take a week off every 3 months for your sanity and to let your body get a full week of deep repair.

I lost 177 lbs over 18 months. Grew an epic beard and I'm starting to date.
So far I'm only getting dates with fat girls from tinder with lying photos, but it's a start. I'm treating each date as practice. I'm learning to flirt and be attractive even though I don't want them.

>gains stalling on pull ups >"have to" take a break from lifting altogether for 2-3 weeks >come back and do pull ups >feels like i could go on forever I eventually had to stop, but it was a good 5 or so more than my max. I got so hyped I forgot to count.

it'll be babyweight to you as well if you keep going
>tfw lost 14 pounds >tfw man tiddies shrinking and soon to be nonexistent >tfw can see my penis now >tfw double chin disappearing behind a now relatively nice beard >tfw can do 15 and 10 on the cardio machine for one mile without stopping now Is this what the pride of accomplishment feels like? Still got a lot of ways to go
Nice man, that's always a good feeling! For me, my job is going well and picking up - it's nice being able to pay all my bills, have a little spending money, and still be able to save some money. Seeing my bank account grow every month is fantastic, especially after the last two years, which were hard for me. Also, I'm pretty sure a girl at the gym is into me, so I'm going to ask her out next time I see her, wish me luck boys!
>Be 5'10 lanklet >Always had narrow frame, felt insecure about this >Did a long back work out, pull ups, rows, lat pull-downs >Also worked out shoulders >Day following I look pretty good in the mirror, broader
Not sure if it was just a change in posture or a pump, but it made me want to do that work out again.
Camden King
Just do nice things for people occasionally, also pray honestly to God (the truth of whether or not he's real will come to you in time) the nihilism goes away soon.
Jace Kelly
do you look much better?

a few people have pointed out that I have more defined biceps, but I doubt I'll be hearing too much until I hit 2pl8. In either case, feelsgoodman
>new rules at company actually increasing productivity and giving me purpose, agency and direction. >D&D campaign is at it's best in months thanks to new prep style I'm using >First episode of a podcast I'm thinking of going hard with is being recorded tomorrow >Computer I've struggled so hard to get working has finally advanced to a proper troubleshooting phase >Girl I have a thing for and I were flirting two evenings ago >Lifts progressing steadily, very close to where I was like two years ago at my "peak". >On pace to break them shortly
Life ain't bad for once.

>started to lift at the beginning of the new year >DYEL >6ft 170lbs I hit lmao 205lbs diddly tonight for 3x10, feeling good.

God loves you very much. You might be going through tough times, but He's up there and watching you, making you the best man possible. Don't give up on yourself or him
Does this help anyone? Why are you speaking for God? Why should I live for an absent father figure?

I did 70 kg on Friday for reps proud of that cus I'm really skinny and weigh 60 kg

>finally broke past the weight I was stalling for weeks at >lowest weight I’ve been at since freshman year of highschool, 8 years ago >eating healthier and feel better the ever before >making time to spend with the people I really care about >have pretty much pushed away all negative people in my life >really getting into my hobbies, feel like I’m seeing a lot of improvement, confidence >was having some anxiety about the future, has passed and I’m really just enjoying life right now
This is probably the best my life has ever been, I’m happy bros.
