It’s not totally horrible because I started out 135lb and I’m 180lb now (6”1’)but how do I remedy this? Should I just start working out and eating the same calories?

First of all you dumb as shit eating all that food and not lifting weights.
Now start lifting weights for 4 weeks keep your calories the same. No point trying to drop calories yet or you'll just get hungry and weak. After 4 weeks start cutting some out but keeping protein high and sugar low, feel free to use nice energy fueling rice or potatoes but avoid processed sugar and choose real fruit.
