There's absolutely nothing wrong with trans fats

true, I eat donuts every day on my way to work

Attached: nice dubs.gif (600x408, 3.32M)

>(((American Heart Association)))

Stuff with unsaturated fat is expensive.

What's the best alternative for science-based health/diet info that is verifiable, agreed upon by many experts, and doesn't have ulterior financial motives?

You basically have to discard everything published after Hippocrates.

Get rid of trans

>they fell for the saturated fats are bad meme

Yikes and cringepilled

They are bad. Literally anyone who understands how to conduct and read research concluded they're bad for you.

You're gonna listen to some youtube keto celebrity instead? Plants are the healthiest food to eat.

Vegans have the same test levels as female lemurs

carnivore stay dead

fake study funded by israel

Post body.

coconut oil has no cholesterol though?

“Because coconut oil increases LDL cholesterol, a cause of [cardiovascular disease], and has no known offsetting favorable effects, we advise against the use of coconut oil.”

neat

Is it still safe to use as lube though

Trans fats literally change the permeability of your cell membranes and make it harder for oxygen and other shit to diffuse across

Is it permanent?

no, nothing in the body is "permanent" except death

>putting coconut oil in the catogery of transfats
Jesus.

>AHA
More like
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA FAGGOT

when did you realise they dont recommend these foods because people eat too much of them since they taste good as shit so they get fat as fuck, and because of that develop heart problems
trans fats are banned in most countries

Did you even read what you posted? Harder to get oxygen = increased performance. It's like the VO2 masks

Attached: mask.jpg (700x492, 86K)

Yout body takes lipids from the cell surface at random. The less you have, the slower it is going to disappear. It's possible that you could never get it to zero but close to it.

AHA recommendations are great for sedentary overweight dyel normies. I would even say veganism too but mostly because I don't care about them. If you want more then you need to eat a little differently.

Attached: Vertical.jpg (1080x1080, 145K)

good to avoid juices especially if your goal is micronutrients, they pasteurise it most of the time which ruins the vitamins

It's the most saturated fat heavy oil on the market though. Marketing likes to mention the fact that a portion of coconut oil's fats are medium-chain triglycerides, but at least half of its fats are harmful long-chain saturated fats.

Looks like a meme diet that tries to pretend it's health-conscious but is mainly just made for bodybuilding efficiency.

>red meat has "healthy fats"
>white rice is a good carb source because "it's easy to digest" (but sugar is bad for you, because it digests too easily!)
>fucking himalayan pink salt

himalayan pink salt is based, most table salts have tons of plastics in them, himalayan doesnt.

Yeah memery at it's finest. Also what both Brian Shaw and Hafthor eat.

>not chain smoking 18 hours a day to train your lungs

Steroids must be great for your health then, right? Those guys take them, and muscles = lifelong health, right?

what incredible natural bodybuilders

Doesn't work sadly, better off making a high altitude chamber for yourself

Huff smoke to increase lung strength

He's 51 and sprints stairs for fun.

So steroids are good for your health, right? It'll prevent cancer and heart disease and keep your liver functioning well and your kidneys in great shape?

With some effort the side effects are minimal, yes. Don't tell me you bought into steroids being morally wrong and the cheater's way? But sure if you can't see that most if not all successful professional athletes use steroids then follow the AHA or better yet become vegan, it sounds more your style.

>red meat has "healthy fats"
An that one is extremely true. Stop believibg the 50-year-old myth that Anvel Keys started

You stop believing the modern conspiracy theory that paleo faggots started.

I wonder why the people living on pure carnivore are thriving

Attached: 1547839340226.jpg (943x656, 105K)

>the science of cardiology as it's understood today is "an old myth made up by a wizard that nobody fact checked for 70 years"
You're fucking retarded

>seven countries study

Attached: www.wallpaperflare.com_static_188_100_55_vivian-james-gamergate-freckles-redhead-wallpaper.jpg (1920x1080, 119K)

Vegans are thriving beyond anything you can imagine carnist.

youtube.com/watch?v=4rieOahGXUU

>no research was done on this topic beyond the Seven Countries Study, and also the Seven Countries Study was nefarious because the diet book I read, whose plot relies on that conspiracy theory, says so

Many of the studies are flawed, Ancel Keys in particular, and many more if not all benefit vegetable oil consumption. Surely they wouldn't pay for studies that would benefit their bottom line? "Oiling of America" does a decent job of looking at studies on cholesterol and heart disease. AHA has been recommending this for 70 years with no reductions in heart disease, stroke, or any other cardiovascular problems.

Or at least you trust that they're flawed without having read them yourself (and without training to be able to really interpret them anyway), because the diet book you bought or supplement selling website you viewed, which certainly has no financial interest in the topic, said so.

DASH and/or Mediterranean diet

post sources?

I like to think I’m a good fat

starch is metabolized very differently than fructose/sugar retard

Refined starch and refined sugar are very similar

nice bait.

I know this is Jow Forums and all but the lengths that some of you faggots go to in order to be contrarian and be a part of le edgy counter culture is pretty baffling.

What's it like living in an echo chamber? Spacious, I'd imagine?

eat vegetables (non-starch)
eat meat
eat butter
minimize dairy consumption

btfo

>LCSF
yeah it doesn't matter bro the impact is miniscule if you consume it unproceesed (virgin coconut)
>An interesting fact to keep in mind is that myristic acid is seldom naturally occurring, but is more commonly and abundantly found in processed foods.
>processed foods

Send sauce faggot
Don’t asume it’s the joos when you disagree with what it says

white rice digests easy because it has low fiber content. fiber inflames your intestines (+bloating) which causes you to go poop all the time

look up fiber myth

not at all.

Meat-Eaters include anyone that isn't veggie or vegan, including the fat asses that choke down big macs and milkshakes.

>raw dairy
>150x more likely to get a foodborn illness
>the only reason there aren't massive outbreaks constantly is because relatively few people eat it
>little to no health benefits
That food pyramid is full retard

Attached: raw milk.png (814x4169, 673K)

>That food pyramid is full retard
just like keto

keto is alright if you have a legitimate need for it (seizures, etc) but for general health/fitness/weight loss it's a meme no better than calorie monitoring.

most ketards on Jow Forums are dumb as rocks, though

Then why wasn't raw milk an issue back in the day? You think people died when the milk man came door by door with a glass of fresh raw milk?

Fucking NPC

Milk has been pasteurized for 100+ years. Before that, people got sick a lot from unpasteurized milk.
>In 1938, milk products were the source of 25% of all food and waterborne illnesses that were traced to sources, but now they account for far less than 1% of all food and waterborne illnesses.

> fiber inflames your intestines
You're retarded
ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/10483900
>look up fiber myth
This is why Jow Forums is thought of as a bunch of retards. You guys seek out psuedoscience and end up believing the most retarded shit for no reason.
>but I read on some quack website on the internet--
Why would you think this stupid shit you read is the least bit credible? Do you think the more retarded you seem to the rest of the world, the more correct your beliefs must be?

Been drinking milk for 10 years. Never been sick from it. That's all I need to know about your ((studies))

>anecdotes > evidenced and 100 years of medicinal/nutritional studies

Attached: file.png (800x750, 157K)

Is coconut oil healthy or not? I read that it's healthy all the time because of MCTs but then every now and then I read shit like this. I currently use coconut oil for cooking but only because I thought it was healthy

unhealthy in large amounts due to how calorically dense it is.

healthy in low quantities as it contains MCT's that other lards and butters generally do not, sans ghee.

unfortunately it either has a coconut taste or if refined, adds nothing to the flavor of a dish--just extra calories.

>coffee and tea on moderate
I assume because of caffeine? If you drink them without sugar or cream, they're basically zero calories, right?

because people that set out to prove how good fiber is for you arrived at the conclusion that 0 fiber heals constipation/diarrhea while adding fiber usually worsens symptoms.

See The MCT thing is marketing buzz. It's like Coke advertising that their soda is "high in water, which is good for you." It's what they aren't telling you about their product that is the problem.

>based on one study you didn't actually read or understand, that everyone who is actually educated about fiber and the human body has also read and not counted as reliable or quality evidence
Again, you're a fucking gullible retard. How smart do you think you are when the conclusion you reached is the opposite of what everybody who knows their shit reached?

By the way, googled "fiber myth" and first link was some jew run website run by "Dr. Berg" who, right on the page, advertises and advises his expensive Dr. Berg brand kale supplement power.

You're a fucking idiot.

The ultimate BTFO is when you try the carnivore diet and your old injuries heal, muscle piles on and you have mental clarity all day.

And heart disease

How are raw milk drinkers comparable to basedboys? You probably haven't eaten anything raw in your life that's why your stomach cannot kill parasites and you would die. That sounds pretty soiboy to me.

Anyone who has to put their name on this shit + IG is a huge faggot

t. tranny

what a freak

bloatlord approved training method

Attached: bloatpepe.png (450x720, 145K)

Make sure to pin a kg of tren like they do too

No they didn't you sped. Pasteurisation was introduced because of a bovine TB outbreak.
Your pasteurised milk still has bovine TB in it and other diseases, just the bacteria is dead. And you wonder why people have inflammatory responses.

My raw milk is tested all the time, if there's and inkling of bad bacteria that means no milk.

>"meat eaters" include people who eat 80% vegetables and processed foods
Fucking nigger tier study

>In 1938, milk products were the source of 25% of all food and waterborne illnesses that were traced to sources, but now they account for far less than 1% of all food and waterborne illnesses.

>HDL good!
>LDL bad!

Attached: 1536540201183.png (430x441, 86K)

Pasteurisation was already in use by then.
The only thing that's changed between then and now is improved food practices and technology/testing.

You know you can reduce your risk of heart disease by eating nothing but twinkies, right? The twinkies diet is about as good as the vegan diet in terms of reducing your risk for heart disease, ie the reduction arterial clogging.

>vegetables (non-starch)
What is wrong with starchy vegetables, besides possible excess carbs?

>Keto Food Pyramid
>Starch
Think about it user

Can you imagine how heavy this retard mouthbreaths during a set? Anyway, listen now you dumb fucking faggot, it's not about "Oh boy now I can eat nothing but fat all day and I won't have to count calories!" It's the opposite, what people mean when they say that "You can eat as much as you want on a keto diet!" is that they're counting on all the fat that you're now eating has a higher satiety level than any other type of food you previously ate, meaning you won't be able to eat as ridiculous as before. I can barely eat more than three teaspoons of raw butter without feeling satiated, it's that fucking crazy. And as you get into a ketogenic state, and you're eating less calories than before, your body will burn your fat more effectively compared to how it burnt fat when you weren't in a ketogenic state.

I don't even do keto, but understanding how nutritious and satiating fats are has been life changing. I'm so god damn satiated all the time I don't even feel like eating, at which point I fast if I've got extra adipose tissue.

>adjusted for BMI
>not adjusted for age
The vegans and veggies in this study are probably 10 years younger than the """meat""" eaters lmao.

I see. I didn´t read the whole thing.

Study adjusts for: BMI, Age, exercise levels, and smoking status

ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2374537/pdf/83-6691152a.pdf

Daily reminder that people against keto are just sugar addicts trying to justify their diet.

Bullshit. I’m a pasta addict.

It says FACT on the picture so it has to be true.
