How long does it take to be considered an intermediate level lifter?
How long does it take to be considered an intermediate level lifter?
You can be a dyel for years if you're not lifting properly.
Being intermediate is a telltale of how much you can lift on the big four (OHP, bench, squat, diddy)
just check the symmetricstrength website
>tfw no yellowman
An intermediate lifter can lift 60kg Barbell Overhead Press, 100kg Barbell Flat Bench Press, 140kg Barbell Back Squat, 180kg Barbell Deadlift and do Weighted Chin-Ups with 20kg+, all for at least 5 comfortable reps.
Pic related is all you need to get there.
>tfw not asian according to SS
This is both accurate yet wrong.
Intermediate is defined as not being able to recover and improve on a lift in 48 hours.
Isn’t 1pl8-4pl8 advanced?
lol no.
Most people never reach advanced besides competitive lifters, they just kid themselves that they are.
So assuming you lift consistently 3-4 times a week and eat well what would the average time to reach 1pl8-4pl8 even be?
1/2/3/4 isn't much. You'll realise when you get there.
6 months from noob. It will lie in early-intermediate for most people.
At least a 500kg total.
Depending on what weight you are, a 4 plate deadlift is edging on the advanced side, especially if you’re talking for reps
Who gives a shit kid nobody considers you anything because nobody even knows you exist LMAO...intermediate...get a load of this kid.
t. you
very logical conclusion from my post. detective "intermediate" retard has solved the case L M A O
No 1/2/3/4 takes longer than 6 months.
for you
skelly to 1/2/3/4 takes a lot longer than fatass to 1/2/3/4
For me and for most other people.
lmao is that alana?
I did skelly to 1/1.5/3/3 in 4 months.
So I was being generous with 6.
You can all make it but you're just being half assed about it.
what was your starting weight?
Can't rightly remember, but 66-73 kg at 5'11.
Take 73kg for arguments sake
>73 kg
that's not skelly lmao. i was 120lbs at 5'8
>hurr hurr I was more skinny
Okay, do you want to change that or do you want to keep whining about your mediocrity?
im 155 now i already changed it. im saying if you're a complete skelly, you have to worry about gaining weight even more than lifting. if you start out heavier, you just lift for strength and cut once you get far enough
>73kg at 5'11 is skeleton
thats pretty much normal weight
i was 65kg at 6'6''
>im 155 now i already changed it
Still a skelly
What are your numbers and how long did it take you to get there?
>Normal weight
For skinny fat sedentary normies sure, I looked like a skelly at that weight
Nah takes a year on average
It actually depends on leverages and bodyweight
T. Dl 4plates for reps after few months, currently repping 5plates 2 years training but built to deadlift, cant bench for shit
Post stats and progress.
Where you started, where you are now, how you did it
>still a skelly
learn to read a bmi chart. i hit 160/260/320/365 after ~ 2years. i didnt deadlift for the first year
Deluded
BMI is for sedentary populations with no muscle. Would you call contest ready Arnold obese because of his BMI?
Actually mirin' those lifts at that bodyweight user.
I still think you could improve your lifts every week doing a TM or HLM.
Deluded for wanting more gains for my anons
