The technique involved seems to be to cheat as hard as possible.

It is so dumb. Imagine someone overhead pressing but the bar remains perfectly still with them just falling under it until their arms are upright for reps. That is oly lifting. The bar barely moves for any of the lift.

Oly lifts are great for building explosive strength which is phenominal for many fighting disciplines. Enjoy your shitty isolation exercises I guess, lol.
