Don't have a pic but last week I walked up to a girl while she was reading on her phone and she was ignoring me for a little until I kept on signaling to her. Shelooked up at me and said 'what' in an angry/annoyed tone. At that point I just gave up and asked her some random shit like 'do you know where x building is?'. Something similar happened to me. I have pretty bad superiority complex (gotten better), and I somehow felt comfortable enough to talk to her about it. Quite possibly the worst mistake I've made in my romantic life. Unless you're 110% sure that she's "the one", it's best to keep stuff like mental illness and non mainstream political view and ideologies that you might hold out of the picture.

that she liked me(the first girl to ever do so). She was a shut in autist who couldn't handle social interactions with people, so I'm not sure if she intended it. Eventually she started dating my only friend, besides her, who I introduced her to. She ended up ghosting me and I stopped messaging her. The sad thing is my friend didn't like her, and even told her that he only wanted to have sex with her, and would be embarrassed to be seen in public with her; but she still chose him over me because that's how undesirable I am. It'll be two years since they started dating in January, and I don't talk to either of them anymore, but she still comes to my mind everyday.

Silence leaves a lot of things uncertain. I absolutely agree that the ideal message in most cases is indifference. So why not send a reply cementing that rather than just silence, which could be interpreted in more than one way?
