How much/how long do you run for? Im trying to find a good basis.

I began with a c25k app and the creators of it have apps all the way up to a marathon, so I'm just doing their program until I can run a marathon. Not trying to rush it or anything even though at the beginning it'll be piss easy. A big part of cardio, especially endurance running, is just building endurance more than muscle. It's a mental game more than a physical one and these apps make it very simple to build that callous for your mind. At a point you'll maybe be burning too much calories for your liking, if you're bulking, just stuff more food in then.
