Have you ever had a personal trainer? Are they worth it?
Have you ever had a personal trainer? Are they worth it?
No
And they arent
Its their busness to keep you coming as long as possible
What the fuck is a training going to teach you that you can't already learn from. The Internet?
more like fatness coach haha
PTs can help you learn correct form
They aren't going to shill you ss + gomad for starters
Have you ever heard the expression "Learn from other people's mistakes" ?
I lift to be able to beat all women, currently I can take fatties and tallies, but I need to be strong enough to eradicate the ogre menace. I am David, and I must kill Goliath.
I had someone train me the two months leading up to my first powerlifting meet.
I don't think I'd pay again but it was helpful for the first meet. I peaked really well. Did supramaximal work with blocks and pins and always had a spotter/liftoff. He judges in the ipf too so we worked on making my lifts meet compliant. He also helped me figure out my attempts before the meet so I went 9/9 and PRed each lift. He also came to the meet to do my liftoffs for bench, help with warmups, etc.
Personally I always like to carry a gun on me at all times
that way i can always kill myself whenever i want
If she can become a PT then so can I with my decently muscular body. How much do these people usually charge?
haha
Fitness burger in my gob so my stretch marks can continue to grow , fucking vile hambeast, this one ruins the appeal of all the qt fatties
It's not about how you look it's how much bullshit you read out of a book at university.

A good PT is worth seeing for a very short period of time (shouldn't take more than three or four sessions maximum) to help you work out a specific issue.
You should never see one long-term, though. It's a waste of time and money.
Sadly, the market is saturated with shit PTs.
I will bet both of my testicles that that woman is not 21.
great for starters. You get them for free at my gym and it really helped me at the beginning
forget how disgusting her body is, wtf is with that hairline
What literature should I into to become a personal trainer?
I want to be an independant personal trainer nao
As one myself, I try to be the best jumping off point that I can be, and I try to give my clients the tools they need to program their own workouts. I’ve only had one client that doesn’t quite get it, but I’m getting there. I’m a self destructing job, as I hope I don’t need to see my clients for more than 6 months.
Buy the book sold by whichever accrediting body you plan on getting it from, along with their work book. You can find a lot second hand.
>getting certificates
they're a motivator
>me and my buddy who are both hungry skeles start at the gym
>I've browsed fit and done some research, practiced form a little at home and looked up a routine
>He just goes and does what he feels like
>Asks for advice on his squat, deadlift etc, give him some pointers despite being brand new myself, just obvious stuff
>Completely ignores it and says he doesn't like those lifts
>PT comes over, says he 'just wants to give him friendly advice! ;) And tells him literally exactly what I have been
>Woah wtf dude amazing that's so helpful omg
>Meets this guy every single time at the gym, if he's not there he's useless, says he isn't feeling it or does a half workout
>Insists he's not paying him
Grinds my fucking gears
