Has anyone here ever done nsuns 531? Is it a good routine or just a reddit meme? Looks like a fuckload of volume.
Nsuns 531 routine
I ran it for about 3 months. I did the four day version. Bench didn't move up, made a little progress on deadlift, and squat moved up every week.
I found the workouts to be annoyingly lengthy and a lot of the volume to be volume just for volumes sake.
That said I did like the base level of strength it gave me because when I rolled into my powerlifting peaking program after nsuns it went really well.
doing it atm. No shit on the volume....I can do the tier 1 lifts for squat and deadlifts ....but fuck doing tier 2 lifts "deficit deadlift" on squat day and front squat on deadlift day.
Eat a fuck ton, I think the volume for upper body is great with this routine.
just do full body ffs stop trying to find the magic, there is none, except roids ofc
What were your lifts when you started?
S: 405lb
B: 285lb
D: 485lb
I did a standard 5/3/1 template from the first book
Would not recommend, felt like I was doing essentially just one work set a workout, the AMRAP set.
About the start a template from 5/3/1 Forever, wish me luck
pretty shit:
bench: 75kg
deadlift: 145kg
squat: 110kg
Why do these thots always ruin their hands with shitty long nail and shitty nail polish, shit's fucking disgusting.
You probably weren't strong enough to elicit a training response from your top sets. Do one of the intermediate or beginner variations
So tgey can scratch their arses.
Looks good when you see them on your cock
I did for about a month about 2 months ago.
My starting 1rm were 155/240 (incline)/370/440
My maxes actually went down by about 10 after a month running and It felt like forever in the gym.
If you wanna run 5/3/1 I hear 1000% awesome is very good, ive been meaning to run it but I cant find a good app to track it like I track madcow with personal trainer.
Did the 5 day variation for about 6 months. Actually still made progress in DL and Sq when I switched, but the amount of volume made me feel like I had wrestled a gorilla the day before when waking up. Also the workouts took me about 1.5 - 2 h in the end.
Pretty much this.
I did the 5day version. My DL decreased by 15lbs, my bench stayed about the same, and my squat went up maybe 30lbs. I started at a 940lb total.
I really agree with the volume for volume sake shit. Also once you nail that 1+ or whatever it was in the MIDDLE of your fucking workout, you're always faced with a 3rep that you almost certainly will fail. Programming should never include weight you can not do, it is absolutely terrible for you.
Man, its almost like a 1200 lb totalling redditor faggot wrote the program, and you followed it lmao
Writing an excel sheet for that would take 5 minutes, bro
You're right, I wasn't aware that I did a program developed by a 1200lb redditor, thanks user.
Glad you cleared that up for me.
>I wasn't aware
>1000 lb squatter and ex d1 football player writes 5+ books on simple, effective training methods
Or
>Ripped off, bastardized program from reddit, with a redditor name IN THE TITLE
Lol woops.
Did you have a point to make or did you still think you're on /b/ in 2005?
My point is that you should choose reputable programs and try harder.
Was like 2 years ago, are you actually retarded?
>"I did the 5day version..."
What's it like having trouble breathing and walking at the same time?
Whats it like lifting for 2 years and not being in the 1000 lb club yet?
Trying hard doesnt mean lifting more times per week, retard
Was literally in the 1000lb club 3months after quitting nsuns 531 in 2017. Sorry about your uncle touching you when you were 7, but therapy is the outlet you need, not bothering me on a Mongolian earth worm training forum.
>posting 1min 5s apart
>both people have close to zero reading comprehension
You're a pretty desperate little guy.
>1000lbs club, not the 1000kg club
Plebs pls go
Shit ain't hard, just do 335kg in all your lifts
Oh cool, what is your SBD total now?
So the overall consensus is it's pretty shit?
i like it desu and have been seeing good gains from it, although i am a novice inching into intermediate so im not the best judge since im going to be making gains doing just about anything due to lmaonoobgains
I’ve been doing it since the beginning of January and it’s based. You get a great Fucking workout in, especially on squat day
