How excactly will it change your life?

i defeat addiction

what will you replace it with

books and learn to python and exercise

and will start first job at cafe to save money and start business in 1 yr

>
Do you think it'll make your life better and more ejoyable?

wtf
good luck op, i'll miss you a lot though

python? I tried making books a new hobby of mine and it definitely made me feel ...stronger mentally and helped me get out of my head also gave me more food for thoughts and stuff to talk about. I don't think you will be able to live your life just reading and exercising but I respect you for trying

better? yes

enjoyable? maybe not

i want to stop my habit of dopamine hits on internet 24/7 and to live more being myself than letting my destiny be controlled by outside things

Okay.
Well im just being curious because my mom is gonna remove my internet in a few weeks and I get the opportunity to meet the outside era of my 4 walls.
Unfortunately I do not have the confidence to just get a job or hit the gym and I dont know how reading is excactly going to make my life better.
Any tips?

i guess i just realized my life will NOT change a bit if i dont do anything. only im responsible for me and my happiness, and i should ONLY care about myself and what i want.

i also realized shy me isn't me, it's just me after a lot of experiences and my life being shaped by external events. i plan to do everything how I WANT TO DO. its my life i want to take full control.

maybe same thing help you. no matter how much other people call u idiot just trust your judgment. and dont trust your judgment that comes when u become angry after people say something to you, trust your judgment only when you are completely calm. you can only be yourself when you remove hesitation from your life.

my favorite book ever maybe help you: libgen.is/book/index.php?md5=A97EEC164FB3A3B68767DC2D7C50525E

reading seriously will do a lot for you, I've done it myself and at first it was hard to read even a single page but as the weeks and months went by I could read a lot more per day and It felt like exercise for the mind you know? I'm not saying all books are good books but you get to be inside somebody else's thoughts and ideas for a change and with a book you truly get to know your characters. I feel refreshed and more awake reading books not to mention more alert, its like I'm levelling up through them.

and dont listen to stupid shit advice from reddit they are 99% idiots.

have you read "how to influence people and make friends" too? that's a real oldy but it's a goldy and can help you in everything from getting a job/wife/friends.

Thanks alot, brother.
I will try.

yes i dont like it

:{ well I liked it. You seem really naive, you can't fill all your time with books and exercise. You'll have to find a new hobby and fast or you'll come crawling back - maybe you should volunteer too or create ..something.

i know, i said i will get job for money to start my business. that's my #1 goal.

yes but that's still all work and no play. You do realise how hard it is to make something a part of you and a habit? reading books can be enjoyable but its completely different from browsing the web, it will also physically tire you out if you do it alot at first. Plus would be socialising? you do have people to see or talk to without the internet right? it just seems like you havn't thought this out well . . .

i guess so but i think it's better to start than not do anything at all. i will make friends, i want to. i used to have hundreds of friends when i was in high school but 0 friends in last 2-3 years. i think i can get friends again if i try.

you will completely in the dark about things without the internet too, it will cut your opportunities. Maybe instead of cutting it out completely you can restrict yourself to 1 hour a day or something. The internet is just too essential to a lot of modern day life also how will you advertise your business or create business without the internet. Such foolishness user

i have tried more than 15 times to control my internet/dopamine addiction, i go 1-2 week witout 24/7 internet use but i come back to old habits, i HAVE to do this no other option. i want to slow down my brain because i open 20 tabs every time i use pc and go from one thing to another again and again, like my brain is fried now. i have a university library near me to use PC if i need, i can socialize there also.

i think you are right i will have not much to do in the start, but i want to slowly figure out how to spend my time witout internet. there is a lot of positives of using internet but for me the negatives are more than positive so i have to do it. at least for 1-2 years until i have developed self-discipline and myself as a person

You're going to learn to code without internet resources? Internet resources are central to learning to program anything worthwhile anymore.

i downloaded on my pc tutorials, references, guidebooks, all libraries and their guides for python.
