You guys are making me nervous. I only used the amount of space to comfortably stand while waiting for my floor. It just so happened to take up the majority of the elevator. If my colleagues want the same amount of space they could just wait for the next elevator or come to work earlier.

Jokes aside OP, it's like parking on the street in a neighborhood. You don't own the curb in front of your house, but it's polite not to park in front of other people's houses if you can help it. I know you get there first, and idk how small that elevator is, but if you don't want to get fired for a dumb reason, you better start leaning against the wall and looking at the floor/ceiling or taking the stairs, because other people are entitled to that elevator.

And about the harassment thing, I've been through a ton of classes on it and one form of harassment is blocking/intimidating. Like, a hot chick wants to go through the hall, but you stand in the middle so as to impede here ability to do what she wants (without touching her), you'll get nailed for harassment.
