Post-prego workout routines

Is it possible to get a fit body after giving birth? Especially if you weren’t fit prior to the pregnancy?

Yeah.
Basic calisthenics and some bit of cardio will tone your muscles and make you stronger without making you masculine.
Plus breast feeding and taking care of the kid will boost your energy needs throughout the day which makes you drop pounds by the ton.
Your body becomes a fat burning calories burnign machine after birth IF you are active when taking care of the child and breastfeed etc etc.

God this is one of my worst fears. Having a kid and then being stuck with a wife who thinks she can use the pregnancy as an excuse to stay fat afterwards.

haha yeah wouldn't that be weird

>Is it possible to get a fit body after giving birth?
yes
>Especially if you weren’t fit prior to the pregnancy?
still yes, but likely no. if you didn't have the motivation before, how will you find the motivation now that you have less time in your day, having a rugrat to chase after?

why bother
you should get pregnant again soon
you're obligated to have at least two kids

Is this a joke? Nothing will make you look masculine all of a sudden, not even lifting heavy weights. Unless you are extremely disciplined and on point with both your diet and workouts you will never get close to develop masculine muscles. Unless you roid of course. It will never happen on accident. Lifting is very good for women because it is an easy way to achieve a 'toned' look. It's difficult to achieve these results with calisthenics and cardio really doesn't do anything for your muscles, it just burns calories.

This is the second one. I just threw together a routine last week only to find out I’m pregnant again.

I grew up watching my mother workout 3 times a week after pushing out three kids, only to see her not make any substantial progress for years. I don’t want to succumb to the same fate. Knowing it’s possible and that my mother was probably doing something wrong gives me motivation to try.

Thanks anons.

Why wouldn't it be possible? You can always lose weight. Sounds like you are making up excuses in your head.

are your kids cute

> 3 times a week
Never gonna make it. It wasn't those cliche workout videos routine too was it?

Doesn’t every parent think their baby is cute? :)

My biggest concern is my gigantic breasts hindering my mobility ability to do more intense workouts. The back pain is already real.

It's not only working out, its your diet
After you give birth watch you calories and watch what youre eating

i want kids
need to find a girl dumb enough to marry me

>tfw my mother-in-law tells my wife that if she gets fat i wont be interested in her any more
Based mother-in-law

>I grew up watching my mother workout 3 times a week after pushing out three kids, only to see her not make any substantial progress for years
She probably did some really low intensity stuff and didn't watch her diet closely enough. That's what I see a lot of women do and it is kinda frustrating to watch. You're not going to make progress if you don't sweat and your diet is by far the most important part of losing weight. You can easily get more calories in by eating a bit of ice cream than you burn in a two hour workout. So watch what you eat and how much and be honest with yourself.

Women who go too hard with the hiit and high intensity exercise and cardio and heavy lifting always end up building a lot of test over time. Combine this with their shrinking natural fat stores and they end up losing their ability to produce extra estrogen that is vital for their long term health.

It's true.
Women who go to hard in the gym and with athletics always lose their femininity and end up with major memory and thinking problems later in life and end up with massive injuries and metabolic issues because they simply weren't built for that shit.

Basic calisthenics, stretching, some cardio, eating a better diet, being more active in day to day life and patience will see really good results for the average woman.
She's a new mother, breast feeding and taking care of the babby will boost her NEAT through the roof.

You can always find some exercises that you can do, even with larger breasts. You should really look into weight lifting, chances are it will get you closer to your goal than with what you are doing now. Lower body exercises like squats, lunges and all these butt exercises that instagram chicks like to do should all be doable with big breasts.

I dont see how it would be an issue at all outside bench and some random cable shit

Interesting, do you have any good articles on that? My gf is working out a lot so this might apply to her.

But I still don't see why bodyweight exercises would be neccessarily better than free weights. Both should be fine in moderation.

>not make any substantial progress for years
>probably doing something wrong
can't out-train a bad diet, period. she was eating like shit

Start lifting...fuck that other noise..all nonsense bullshit

Mind elaborating?

wearing some kind of mild belt/cincher is pretty vital, unless you naturally have a very long and wide torso (not from fat, but like literally longer torso and wider pelvis). As you probably already noticed after the first one, your abdominal muscles pulled the fuck apart along their center 'seam', leaving an almost diamond shaped mooshy hole in the center. You need to start binding it together, and exercising those muscles HARD while you gradually compress them more and more together over time with your belt-thing. by the 2 or 3 month mark you should be able to start wearing something like a baby-bjorn, and use your infant as naturally incrementing weight on 15 minute walks up very very steep hills.

don't complain about your fat tits

start exercising. Push a cart with 40 pounds in it. That won't swing the ole tits around too bad.

Please post tits
