Today I weigh 270lbs. One week ago I decided to start making healthier eating choices. Seeing that weight on the scale has made me determined to lose this weight. I’ve been drinking only water and eating the healthiest I can for the last week now. Tonight I made the decision to do my first workout, and I could barely do anything. I’ve become a fat piece of shit. I’m ready to reverse this. I don’t want to die early. I’m only 23. I could only manage the workout for 7.5 minutes until I couldn’t handle any more. I am determined to do this. I know this is anonymous, but I needed to just say it to someone that I AM making a change and it’s starting now. Not tomorrow, or after one last meal. I’m determined to be healthy again. Wish me luck bros.
As a side note, I can honestly not even do 1 full push up now. I’m trying my best. Do you guys have any recommendations? I work a shit ton of hours where I’m always sitting down. I’m going to find a way to incorporate this into my work. Do you guys have any tips for someone that’s a fat bucket of lard and is determined to get back in shape?
I know this is anonymous but I plan to post how long I can handle workouts on some kind of a regular basis.
Not a life story. I’m saying I’m a fat piece of shit and I’m determined to reverse this. Just wondering if anyone has recommendations for someone who can barely do a single push up and can only handle 7 minutes of light workout.

I’m laying in bed now, so worn out. My legs wanted to give out on me walking to my bedroom. It feels so good that I took this first step.
So you recognize all of the things that you are doing wrong but you have no idea what you should do to fix it?
>I hit my dick with a hammer everyday >how do I stop my dick from hurting everyday
Stop being a fucking retard. You know you're fat because you eat garbage food and you sit on your ass all day everyday. Read that last sentence again and if you can't figure out what you should do to reverse that then you are worthless and good riddance.

Do the ladies style of pushups user, its fine just make sure you do them. At your level I'd say 100 is a goal in Ladies pushups just because they're so easy.
Also walk about 2km a day if you have the time, you need cardio to lose weight. Star jumps will be amazing too, at your weight it might fuck with your knees though

One hundred actual pounds weight gain in 4 years? I don’t know what you did to get to that point, but this is going to be a miserable road, OP. Don’t delude yourself at any time because if you start expecting this to be fun you will be disappointed. Already having made it is fun. I’m not saying this to discourage you, just to make sure you don’t go in with some silly expectations and give up when they aren’t met.

Also get back up and set a timer for 30 minutes. Pause it everytime you take a rest. Your body should keep moving no matter what in that time frame. Ive got an 18 stone mate and he cant even squat because his thighs are that fat :(
Jonathan Diaz
We’re all gonna make it brah. The first few steps are the hardest. Welcome aboard.
Dominic James
Day 1 is the easy part, but that's the attitude to keep. Now do it every day. I work out but eat trash. You're inspiring me to toss anything unhealthy when I get home.
I can't say if you'll make it, but you and I both know you could if you do it every day.
Jaxson Jackson
Now that your diet is healthier (which is the most important part of losing weight), you should start walking some kilometers every second day. You should work out every second day as well, just in between your walks. Monday workout, Tuesday long walk, Wednesday workout, etc. By working out, your resting metabolism will increase, and by walking every second day, you'll burn some extra calories (this is of course assuming that you're unable to run, but this will change over some months of consistency). Good luck.

Thanks man
Eh, fuck you.
Thanks for the advice. I’ll start with this.
I understand. I’m in a bad spot but I can fix this. I have to. I’m going to be as realistic as Possible. I can’t lose it in 6 months and I get that. I can make progress though.
Thank you for the tip buddy
Thank you man... it means a lot
I’m doing it everyday bro. Lets both throw out all our trash tonight.
I really appreciate this. Great advice. I’m going to see if my wife will start walking with me early in the mornings before work. Thank you all for the advice. To the negative ones, suck my dick. I’m going to lose this weight, just because you think I can’t. Fuck you and thanks for more motivation

>Eh, fuck you.
Seriously though, do you not realize when you are eating something unhealthy? When you have been sitting in a chair for over 2 hours and you haven't done anything even moderately straining that day, do you wonder why you're out of shape?
The true redpill that leads to becoming fit is to stop being so fucking blind as to what you are doing and what you are eating everyday. Open your eyes and stop being a victim to your own actions. The only person responsible for wrecking your life is you.
Aiden Howard
Read the OP. I said I’ve started eating healthier the last week and have stopped drinking anything but water.
I didn’t say I wonder why I’m out of shape either. Are you mentally handicapped? I asked for tips you fucking idiot.
Xavier Young
Just forget it, not wasting time on your negativity. Thanks anyway, have a nice night.

You got this man. Remember, losing weight is 80% diet, 20% exercise, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be exercising. If you exercise, by the time you are down to your target weight, you’re gonna be in a lot better shape then most people at that weight. Baby steps is key. A simple lifting program like starting strength, some light cardio. If you go all in right away you’re gonna feel tired and sore all the time, which might make you wanna quit. Stay away from weight machines, stick to big compound exercises, it lets you do a lot more more in a shorter amount of time. Download a calorie counting app and follow it religiously. Check the sticky at the top of the board, it’s one of the best fitness sites on the web. We’re all gonna make it. It takes time, dedication, and persistence, but anyone can do it. I believe in you.
Grayson Campbell
Thank you for taking the time to respond. I’m taking notes on what you’re all telling me, and I’ll be doing everything I can to apply these things to my life. I’ve been lazy. That’s over now. Thank you my friend. We all will make it
Jaxson Long
Can you briefly explain what you mean by bigger compound exercises?
Andrew Hernandez
if you want to lose weight just eat less...its not magic you fat fuck. If i were you i would just focus on just dieting and not bother working out. You're fat as fuck so try losing like 20 pounds on pure diet....if you haven't given up by than...after that i focus on working out if you can manage just losing weight by pure dieting. When you start to workout it be little easier since your lost some weight and just start slow. Good luck stupid fat piece of shit.
Logan Cruz
Here's a tip. Stop eating like a fat ass. Here's another tip. Exercise. Get your heart rate up and keep it up. At this day and age if you don't know how to Google anything on your phone then you are an actual retard. So here's a tip= whatever question you have about exercise and healthy eating you should type that question into the lesser known website of google.com. It will give you millions of answers in less than a second. Good luck from there dipshit.
I'm not going to forget it. Demanding positivity from outside sources means you're weak. You have to create your own positivity in life. You lack the ability to face opposition and that's why you're a fat ass. I'd tell you to eat shit but you already are eating shit. I know that because you're fat.
Landon Jones
Starve yourself until you reach a normal bmi for your height
then READ THE FUCKING STICKY
Eli Jones
I believe in you brah you got this
Owen Peterson
God damn not only are you fat but also stupid. Fucking google search shit or read the sticky. You're not gonna make it. Enjoy life looking like dog shit.
Hudson Fisher
Push-ups is a body weight exercise and since you're a fat ass and don't have muscle training you can't expect to do more push-ups against people who weigh less because you're carrying a heavier load as a starting point compared to others, if you want to do push ups so much just do a bench press instead it's the same thing.
I used to be 220 not as fat as you but I just did cardio for the first few months then cardio and weights now I just do weights and light cardio. The thing that always made me fail was expecting fast results, going on shitty trendy diets or starving myself, starting with weight I couldn't do then giving up. Honestly just blast away with the music and pretend people aren't there if you're self conscious and insecure and never look in a mirror and in maybe 3-4 months you'll see a change and eventually exercising will be a habit and it'll all be gone.
Kevin Adams
Nah, I’m gonna make it. You’re just an unhappy person. I was just making conversation on here, it’s 2am.
Insulting me does nothing lmao, I’m not 16, you’re not going to hurt my feelings or make me any less motivated. I hope you get out of your cycle of unhappiness though. Something tells me you’re very lonely.
Brandon Butler
Examples of big compounds are bench press, squat, deadlift, overhead press, bent over row. They work more than one muscle group, which helps to develop overall strength in the body. For example, deadlifts primarily work your lower back, quads, glutes and hamstrings, but the also work your core, calves, traps, and forearms to a certain extent. Programs like starting strength consistent entirely of compounds lifts, because they’re so good at developing overall strength. In these programs, strength is prioritized over looks, although you will get pretty good asthetic results as well. Start with a strength focused program before moving to a bodybuilding program, because you generally need a base level of strength before getting into a more advanced routine. Also, before doing a compound lift, watch a video on how to do the lift properly. Good form is essential to get the max benefit from lifting, poor form can lead to injuries. For example, not keeping your back straight on a deadlift is a great way to slip a disc in your lower back. Do the lift properly, and you’ll have nothing to worry about. Again, give the sticky a good read through.
David Cox
Looking over the sticky now. And thank you for all of this information and your time. Lots of information to take in.
Anthony Gonzalez
Try to cope harder. I'm being real here. You're the fat and stupid one who can't even do a fucking push up that goes on an Indonesian finger painting website to ask for simple fitness advice and giving your life story. you're living in some fantasy world of yours where you emerge as the hero....even if i was lonely I couldn't be worse off than you... I can actually do a push up lmao jesus christ.
Isaiah King
No problem. My recommendation for a starting program would be stronglifts. If doesn’t involve pull ups, which might be difficult for someone of a higher weight who doesn’t do strength training. For cardio, C25K is awesome, although I would recommend walking for the recommended time as opposed to running. Alternate between brisk walking and slow walking. Running at your weight can really fuck up your knees if you don’t have good form running. I’d wait until you’ve lost a bit of weight (30-40 pounds or so) and then you should be good. Try to do cardio after lifting, cardio before lifting can fuck up your gains, or do cardio on days between your lifting days, if you have the time. Once you’re able to walk at a brisk pace for 30 mins, you can start turning up the speed til you start running. Good luck friend, zyzz is smiling upon you.
Caleb Long
So lonely lmao. Relax loser
Noah Rivera
>>>>/Fast/ Stop eating until you're lean. Then lift until you've made it.
Luke Myers
Only thing you can think of when getting btfo is calling others lonely? You're weak. Stop relaxing faggot
