Man I'm tired of eating the same chicken breast every day... Anyone got any good seasoning to share ?
Chicken recipe
oxos and bovrils, garlic granules, red salt
This is related to my interest.
Are you guys cooking or frying?
Baking
Onion powder, garlic powder, season all and pepper. That is all you need to season any meat. Garlic powder can be intense so be careful.
Here are some recipes I use:
Marinade the chicken in lemon juice, garlic, olive oil, fresh thyme, salt, and some cracked pepper.
Smoked paprika, salt, garlic, onion powder, ground rosemary, and 1/3 tsp cayenne pepper, and 2 tbs honey.
Sesame oil, liquid aminos, garlic, ginger, and 2 tbsp honey.
Only a few for now. Honey can be replaced by a sugar substitute or excluded but tasting the marinades and making sure to adjust dry seasonings accordingly to taste is necessary.
why? I used to cook it, now I got a no-sticky pan and fry it. at least has a littlebit of taste that way
Sweet meat tastes horrible don't listen to this guy. Unless you are frying chicken none of this shut makes sense.
All sweeteners can be excluded. Maybe don't listen to this guy because he cannot read.
>no-sticky
Big YIKES! That shit releases particles into your food. Just get a normal steel pan.
There are many kinds of no-sticky today, I think they've mostly resolved this issue
>I think
Better stop thinking and read the facts. Dont poison your body, lad.
Those articles are about teflon, and as I told you plenty non sticky pans don't use it anymore
Wrong. The ncbi link is about the replacement GenX which has the same toxicity probably.
Whole chicken?
Cut off backbone with kitchen scissors and save for stock or discard
This is called spatchcocking, look it up if you're confused.
Spread the bird flat
Rub dijon mustard underneath skin
Season with salt, pepper, oregano and olive oil
Put in fridge for max 24 hours but you can cook straight away it'll still be delicious.
Place on a raised baking tray over a bed of lemon slices and garlic
Cook that shit for 35-40 minutes on 190 c or whatever that is in burger celsius.
Enjoy your flavour gains.
buy whole chicken and either roast it in the oven or lightly smoke it with pecan wood. you can look up basic seasonings for both but montreal steak spice is a decent all purpose rub for just about anything.
What about ceramics though?
Man, that one seems tasty. I'll try next week
And thanks everyone for all the suggestions !
Often it's a mix of ceramic and ptfe.
