Try not eating like a 300 pound negress, stupid
Eat less junk food, exercise more. Do you really need us to tell you this?
Going to a whole food plant based diet can reverse your diabetes user.
>doctor told you that you need to change
>"help do you think I need to change"
You're not gonna make it. Have fun with beetus
Eat less, eat cleaner, move more. For further details see the fucking sticky. Come back with any other questions only after you've accomplished that.
DONT fall for the Keto meme.
It made everything worse for me.
I got much better after doing a whole food plant based diet (very high in fiber)
my blood sugar level is not completely normal and healthier than most people.
(fasting and 2 hours after meal)
pcrm.org
here you go, dont you dare falling for the keto meme it will bring you down in a rabbit hole.
Are you a fatass?
The perfect reason to start going to the gym and eating a ton of fucking meat. Take your opportunity, its hitting you in the face.
My ex had diabetes type 2 so i know its not that fun
but really you just have to keep track on some of the stuff you eat, mostly sweets. so seeing you are already here it shoudnt be such a lifechanger :^)
Yeah eat a lot of carbs that will fix your intolerance to carbs
Exercise with a friend. It's always more fun to have a positive forced reason to get your ass off your PC
>freaking out over realizing you shouldn’t be shoving exorbitant amounts of sugar and insulin spiking trash into your face
Lmao
DON'T fall for the whole food plant based diet.
It made everything worse for me.
I got much better after doing KETO.
My blood sugar is healthier than everyone I know.
OP will you listen to the scientific evidence, or an anecdote on the internet?
>5 citations
>no acknowledgments
le science
which has been shown time and time again that it works.
the other way would be eating a ton of fat for the rest of your life because if you introduce carbs again into your diet, you will be way more fucked than before.
What's your height and weight, fatty? Post body.
>Inb4 you don't
Eat fewer shit carbs, more complex carbs, and eat more vegetables. Fiberous foods, apple cider vinegar, and a few other things can help keep your blood sugar level. Also, if you can't easily give up carbs or shit foodals, eat them AFTER you eat vegetables, meats, fats, etc. It will help limit how much it spikes your blood sugar by buffering absorption. Note, if you eat the carbs WITH everyrhing else instead of after, you will get a greatly reduced buffering effect.
The biggest things are to eat more controlled portions, cut all pop and sweet drinks from your diet, and get regular exercise.
Please provide a study stating how a whole food plant based diet doesn't adequately manage/treat diabetes.
he wont, because ketofags dont care about doing the right thing as long as it doesnt allow them to eat garbage.
The Keto Kult is a menace that must be stopped.
>thinking carbs cause diabetes
>ignoring intramuscular fatty acids, un-esterified FFA, total caloric intake, saturated fat intake, the amount of fiber in said carbohydrates.
>>>>>>>wew lad
>dont you dare falling for the keto meme it will bring you down in a rabbit hole.
keto sounds extreme its true, low-carb diet with lots of veggies on the other hand is something that could save him. Consider keto if you are somewhat experianced with the subject of dieting
Type 1 here, responding to some bullshit
Too much calories is the primary concern- what they're made of matters less if at all (no studies show any significant difference yet unless you're already diabetic)
>DONT fall for the Keto meme.
>It made everything worse for me.
Low-carb diets in general are absolutely fine if you're already diabetic, particularly type 1. Promoting plant-based diets is fine but don't shit on something that also works/helps in other ways- ultimately do what gets your results
Plant-based diets aren't necessarily high-carb. Also carbs aren't known to be an indirect contributor of diabetes, obesity is
That said, I'd always err on the side of low-carb where diabetes is concerned
kek
Unintelligible nonsense
Solid advice
>Prove God doesn't exist
Dunno why people are spazzing out over keto vs whole-food plant based diets because neither are significantly useful for or against diabetes
Keep your shitty food agendas in their respective threads
OMAD, lift every day, HIIT and STOP DRINKING SODA
>>Prove God doesn't exist
No, I'm asking for someone to provide a study that shows no benefit in symptoms after switching to a plant based diet
If this ain’t a wake up call you will die of diabetes suffering from a diet related disease. You have to start watching what you eat and exercise to stop the disease from forming
what does pre diabetes feel like? as an amerifat I can't afford to go to the doctor but I know I eat like shit.
I found out the same about 8 months ago and I've already cured myself. I started with a 5 day fast with snake juice, ate keto for a month, fasted 5 days again, ate low carb for a month, repeat for 6 months. Now I just stick to low carbs on an 8 hour feeding window and fast regularly to maintain overall health. I'm 29 and haven't felt this good since high school. A single extended fast can drastically improve your insulin sensitivity in just days. If you have enough fat, fast as long as you can. Go a month if you still have enough fat, it's not going to kill you. It's the fatsest and most surefire cure and I'm living proof of it.
Do you feel tired as fuck after eating a moderate sized meal that includes carbs? Congratulations, you've got the beetus. Buy a blood sugar tester for $30 and look up how to use it. You don't need a doctor to tell you if you have beetus, they will just do the same thing and charge you $300 for it.
All these stupid niggers saying keto doesn't help with insulin sensitivity are fucking idiots who know absolutely nothing about how human metabolism works. SPIKE INSULIN LESS. INSULIN SENSITIVITY IMPROVES. IT'S THAT FUCKING SIMPLE YOU GOD DAMN RETARDS. Keto works. Fasting works. Low carb helps. Exercise helps. That's it. Diabetes is not mysterious or complicated, at all. Anyone who disagrees with a word of this is either a liar or a complete fucking idiot.
Oh and have fun tearing eachother throats out over this post, I'm not going to bother argueing with literal fucking retards.
B-but user, what about that one study sponsored by frito lay where they fed rats a "low-carb" diet (of 40% carbs from HFCS, onions and maltodextrin) and they developed insulin resistance as a result? Surely, you must accept that this is irrefutable proof keto is bad for you and causes diabetes.
You need to increase your bodies ability to uptake insulin and glucose.
Start doing intermittent fasting. The smaller your eating window, the better an insulin response when you do eat.
Of course, low-carb or keto. Reducing carbohydrates for a few months will improve your bodies insulin sensitivity.
Exercise, especially weightlifting. This will empty your muscles of glycogen and make them more susceptible to uptake the carbs you DO eat.
Worry about calorie cutting after a few months of just improving your diet and started a basic intermittent fasting and exercise routine.
Is this true or are you memeing?
You must be a retard if you think a small study with rats proves anything
*and yes I know you're not serious..just saying
What do you want to know. I'm territory manager, diabetes division, for a pharma.
No shit faggot you should be scared or at the least very concerned.
>t .diagnosed type 2 last june.
Change diet, stop all fast food period, unless its chicken salad or some protein. No carbs or limit severely.
Get the f off your ass and do something. Walk as far as you can, rest and return. Time yourself, at least an hour a day. Work up a sweat. Far enough that you need to carry some water for thirsty n sweat.
Get quality sleep. Start lifting, strive to increase loads consistently, so you can feel like you actually tested a limit each time however small it might be.
>6 month check up doc says tests say im no longer diabetic, keep doing what im doing, do it bro. We're all going to make it
nigger just stop fucking eating. go to /fast/.
Haha I laughed at this post
What diabetes drugs will I be on if I fail?
You're going to die.
But so is everyone else, just not as quickly
Doing full keto is 100% you best chance of making it t b h. Exercise and not eating more than 20-30 net carbs(total carbs minus fiber) is pretty much essential in treating insulin insensitivity.
>took 13 responses before the actual answer was posted.
Keto while taking phillum husk fibers is the true eternal redpill.
low carb diets reduce all cause mortality. Go plant based instead, eat; fruit, veg, legumes and ditch sugar, meat, dairy, oil, and salt. cut your fat intake to no more than 10% total calories and get yourself down to a healthy weight. you can fix this shit in a couple of weeks but you have to maintain a healthy diet and lifestyle..
Stop eating carbs you fatty american
Everyone who isn't braindead already eats low carb, high fiber vegetables ( like spinach and cauliflower) when doing keto. Autists who do do lazy meme keto and only bacon and burger patties should be shot.
Depending where you live it may differ. But if budget is not a variable I strongly suggest this order:
1) Weight loss is a must if overweight.
2) Diet/lifestyle change/exercice.
3) Metformin
4) i-Sglt2
5) Dpp-4
6) Switch dpp-4 for Glp1 if tolerated.
7) Sulfonylureas (I would not recommend anyone to take this. It's shit. It's a mystery why some MD still prescribe this.
8) insulin injections, if you are not already dead from a cardiac event or endstage renal disfunction...
Just fucking never going past #2 would be a lot better for you.
>ditching meat
>ditching salt
>limiting fats to only 10% of calories for someone with insulin insensitivity who should limit carbs.
Big yikes, way to show you know nothing about nutrition.
Just dance in a curcle chanting "DIABETUS DELETUS!!"
How fat was she?
>pre-diabetic
The hell is that? You either catch a bug or you don't
dumbass
