It makes you bald

it doesnt make you bald

There was one study a while back that implies it.

The real question is, is a bit of water weight to look bigger worth the chance of premature thinning?

It increases DHT, so yeah.

Are you afraid to find out for yourself? You expect everyone else to make all the mistakes while you reap the benefits?

There was one study a while back that implies that it actually makes you’re hair thicker and stronger.

It may make you bald

>taking steroids

Chipping in my 2p

Was on it for a year, 4 scoops (those mini spoons that come in the packet) per day and I would say my hair is noticeably thinner. The only thing I can attribute it to is the creatine. I was 28 at the time and disn't suffer from any form of hair loss or thinning previously. Your lifts will go up though.

Just my experience, take it for what you will.

Sounds like bad genetics.

I use it on and off and don't notice any difference in hair. I only take 5g though, not the suggested use looe 15 or whatever it is.

Mirin' brain gains.

No proof, but I think it'll speed up the natural hair loss. You might go bald with it, but that might mean you'd start to go bald in 5-10 years without.

They are bad, but if you took creatine and go bald at, let's say, age 50, it's safe to assume that you would have kept your hair more time. If you have good genes, that doesn't matter, though.

This.

It made my left eye twitch non stop

I did an experiment where I took 5g of creatine a day for a month and measured my hairline left, middle and right before and after. There was no noticeable difference in this time period, although my measuring might have been a bit inconsistent and there might not be any change in just a month anyways. Either way, my bodyweight went up by 3kgs while looking more full and not bloated.

I have used creatine on and off for 2 years and have had seen no side effects with my hairline. Its definitely a meme

Fucking idiot there are studies, it raises DHT levels, DHT raises male pattern baldness. Get the fuck out

Op dont risk it

There's a lot of people who think that creatine causes hair loss because they start taking creatine and then start notice hair loss. This is not a causal relationship. People take creatine when they start taking lifting at least moderately seriously. Lifting increases testosterone which accelerates natural hair line recession. Additionally, most people starting to take creatine are in their early or mid 20s, when hairline recession starts to kick in.

I would trade my hair for more gains

Oh.. so naive

what, you wouldn't?

no dude, ask any guy that is bald in their 20s. They will kill to have hair. Im not balding or anything, im only 19 but my dad started balding at his 40s. Im not willing to risk it

Then you should just roid.

No. Having a full head of hair + regular gains >>>>>> Not having hair + slightly better than regular gains.

>denying creatine's effect on lactic acids
Fucking infidel

Sounds like you were loading the entire time, wtf.

there was literally ONE study that showed raised DHT and that was only correlation not causation on some rugby or whatever players
ONE study versus literally thousands of others who show no such thing
you fucking subhuman balding hairlets are so pathetic

Creatine sucks out all the moisture of your body, causing your head to be dry. That causes hair loss. I found that hydration aka drinking a shitton of water doesn't fix it just makes you piss a bunch. Use some oil or butter for dry hair skin though and you will be fine.

>thousands of others who show no such thing
not him but there are no other Creatine studies that measure the level of DHT

This is probably true but why is it creatine specifically that gets the blame and not all the other supplements

Y’all should just read the study. Taking creative increases DHT production by
>56% lol
even after loading. DHT is directly related to hair loss. That’s why finestride, which limits conversion of testosterone to DHT, is the most effective hair loss drug on the market.

ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/m/pubmed/19741313/

Nigga I been balding and desu most of it was cuz of dry head skin, people shower way often these days which is why I think people go bald when they wouldn't beforehand.

If I don't moisturize I lose tons of hair as soon as my head skin is moist I can rip at my hair and it won't fall off. Don't trust me and give up a 10% performance boost just cuz you can't rub some stuff on your head after showering.

You may dudes, I've been having some form of insomnia recently where I wake up around 4pm with a dry throat. Could it be caused by creatine?

nah that's giving out bjs at the public train station at 3 pm

im not bald yet

>he used creatine?
>activate mpb

Just eat more salt and carbs, retard. You'll gain the same water weight.

Attached: cuphead.jpg (645x773, 83K)

Prove me wrong.

Attached: brainlet.jpg (1129x1200, 118K)

Youre not wrong, youre just retarded water weight is a side effect of creatine not its purpose

creatine raises your iq fr

Creatine made my dick grow legs, it needs to work on its hip thrive

Creatine killed my parents and burned my house down

a month is nothing man.

Creatine dindu

>Most studies show that the strenght increase is minimal, around 2-4% over a month.

>Keep in mind that this doesn't mean you'll look better, just that you'll be stronger.

>In fact, you'll probably become bloated.

creatine works, deal with it.

I've been using creatine for a year and noticed no difference, thinning, scalp-drying, or any such bullshit.

But the positives are pretty minimal too so I'm probably just going to drop it because I can't be fucked.

i added 10 kg to my working weight on the bench press within two weeks when i started using creatine

Been on it for fourish years, no change in my hair

DHT only increases baldness if your hair follicles are predisposed to balding genetically. Otherwise it's just a more bioactive version of testosterone

from personal experience it makes you stronger and more endurable. on the con side. i shed hair much faster when i wash it more hair falls off. so its good, with a price to pay. take on your own risk.

I have a whole family of bald men, I have been taking creatine for like 3 years and did not loose any hair

most supplements are spiked, specially non protein supplements like creatine, those have insane rates of contamination.
spiked with what you ask? prohormones mostly, but also lead, arsenic and a bunch of other shit.
you know what causes thinning hair and balding? prohormones
creatine is an amino acid synthesized from your own body from amino acids you eat and amino acids in your own muscles, the reason why people get BALD on creatine is because the creatine they're taking is spiked.

it's also the most effective drug for developing perma limp dick and no gains and gyno

it's literally what it does, it's what gives you the weight gain, it's what makes your muscles fuller
salt+water+carbs will make you full and increase physical performance far more than taking fucking sand powder.

Creatine may increase the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (DHT). DHT is believed to be the hormone behind male pattern baldness in men genetically predisposed to hair loss.

>mfw seeing all these balding niggers on Jow Forums in their early 20s - mid 20s
>mfw grandpa from mom's side had full head of hair at age 60
>mfw dad still has full head of hair at age 50
>mfw hair is still thick and healthy as ever
>mfw hair grows out easily
>mfw take creatine everyday without panicking like a retard
Thank God for these hair genetics

>trying to educate DYEL
It's a waste of time user. These people also believe that you cannot build muscle without protein powder

It just accelerates baldness in people prone to it.

Hairline recession starts around 60 for most people and the increase in DHT from lifting is insignificant.

Kek

Lmao, I take creatine every day for 2 years now and my hair is still thick and healthy.
You just have pathetic genetics.

>Oh no! Muh hair!
You people sound like a bunch of retarded whiny children.

>mfw grandpa from mom's side had full head of hair at age 60
>had
Enjoy losing your hair earlier.

You sound like an ugly dude.

Medfag here.
No it doesn't make you bald. There is no evidence of that. Creatine monohydrate ups your phosphocreatine reserves. Phosphocreatine can be quickly dephosphorylated to convert ADP to ATP.
It's basically like expanding your fuel tank a bit for anaerobic exercise. Your muscles don't get as tired on the first few reps and you have more power overall. It also draws water into your cells more because it's an osmotically active particle so your muscles get a big bigger from water weight but also from the increased training frequency you can endure because you're stronger. It also improves some neurological function but that's not as noticable in healthy individuals.
I use creatine myself and it boosted all my lifts for about 10-15% when I first started it. Just don't take more than 5 g per day and DONT FORGET TO HYDRATE.

If I eat the whole bottle of creatine, would I get bald?

It accelerates baldness, there is no doubt about that.

Earlier if you are a genelet.

just buy some DHT blockers, women love that shit

Were you using creatine by itself, or using a supplement (pre-work out) that had Creatine in it?

Creatine makes your dick shrink don't fall for it!

My friend has been taking creatine for 5 years every day and his hairline is exactly the same. Creatine is also in most meats, eggs, and dairy. So even if it is bad for you are you going to stop eating these foods too? If not then just use it if you think it will help with your gains.

But the amount is very low compared to creatine's.

Take the hcl version and dont take too much you'll be fine.

it gives me rashes don't take it
