I'm considering adding cardio on Sundays, but not sure if it's worth it. I definitely can't do cardio on other days, since I'm basically dead after lifting.

It is rowing. So suck it.

Rowing's great

Genuinely baffles me that there are people who do no cardio at all.

Cycling.

It's not rowing because I cheaped out and didn't spring for a rowing machine. Will probably do that in the next year I guess, this fucking bike kills my ass.

Cardio kills gains.

nope

It's a funny meme but you literally need to eat one (1) extra snack per day and you'll continue gaining weight aswell as being healthier + leaner

Cardio is essential for fitness anons.

Only manchildren who don't want to put up with a bit of discomfort refuse to do it.

Doing cross country skiing now. I'm absolutely shit at it, but it's still fun and gets my heartrate up

What's it good for? I'm already in a caloric deficit, my muscles are getting enough stimulus from lifting and my cardio-vascular- from sauna. I might start running in a local park when it gets a bit warmer, but only for social gains.

Out of curiosity, what is your resting heart rate?

It hurts my back.
Pic related is a billion time more efficient.

swimming. its far superior.

B-but Mark Rippletits says I can get all the benefits of cardio from strength/hypertrophy training.

Your ass is probably too weak. Rowing is king

No idea, how do I measure it?

If you run marathons, sure. Otherwise this isnt true. Our bodies are perfectly designed to run.

>rest
>feel your pulse (press around on far side of wrist until you feel unmistakeable beating) for 15 seconds, multiply beats by 4
If it's over 60 you've got problems.

Count how many times your heart beats in a minute

Well, fuck. It's 70-ish. But I just finished a Leg+Push workout, I'll measure it again in like an hour.

Maybe Sauna gives you those effects as well, I’m somewhat doubtful (and I sauna 3-4 times a week).

I guess I should run. Well, it's almost warm out, I'll start running soon.

76.
What does it mean?

>60
You will have a heart attack soon if its over 30 you kekistani

That you could use more cardio, really.

60 when multiplied by 4 for the full minute, not for the 15 seconds.

I'm a random user

When i was losing weight and had been running for 18 months, i had a 42 bpm when resting. Not even when still in bed in the morning. It was crazy.

Now i'm back to 60.

However. I do rowing when my lower beck is fine.

And i do horizontal stationary bike when my lowe beck has been defeated by deadlifts or squats.

kek

I'm doing about 10-12 minutes of rowing each time I work out (~5days a week). I'm definitely seeing more definition in my and
Is this good practice user?

>Your ass is probably too weak.
I hip thurst 210 kg for 4.
My issue is that I have long limbs (regarding torso) that put more leverage on lower back.
