Protein

Is it safe to take 3 scoops of this protein a day? I don’t know what this BCAA and glutamine shit does so I wanna be sure.

What’s the point of any discussion and questions on this board if users just googled it?

If you don’t already know the answer deep in your heart muscles, then there is no help.

It is but it's pricey. 1 scoop costs like 80 cents. that's over 1.50 a day in whey, in a month, $45, just from consuming whey. That shit per 100 calories is more than fucking greek yogurt and greek yogurt by far is the most expensive thing in my diet, next to chicken.

Are you not eating 3 proteons a day?

>BCAAs
Amino acids used in muscle building
>Glutamine
Amino acids used in good digestion, immune health, and muscle recovery.

Ironic since protein powder digests about as well as aluminum.

It's safe to take 3 a day, but as someone on Jow Forums that actually lifts, don't bother taking protein powder unless you're in a career that's extremely time restraining and you can't eat. Regular chicken, beef, fish, peanut butter, oats, etc will do more than protein powder shit.

The only proven supplements I could recommend with a straight face are:
Multivitamins - get one with all natural ingredients that you need to take 3 or so times a day, or comes in a small pack of 4 pills. Don't buy that One A Day shit.

Fish oil - honestly just eat fucking fish. But if you're a fag and hate seafood like some, it can help heart health and minor fat burning with long term use.

Glutamine - if you're recovering from an injury or surgery, it's supposed to help. Can't hurt. Not worth buying by any means otherwise.

Creatine - the only shit that noticeably works. Retain water, drink it by the gallon, and notice a .05% increase in size and strength. I take it though.

Preworkout - because caffeine clearly works dipshit.

But almost all of these could be replaced by pinning a needle. You're willing to have a strict diet, buy and consume 7 kinds of supplements, and have a strict training schedule for years on end. Might as well pin and watch yourself put in the same amount of effort as those massive guys, without looking like a scrawny dyel.

I take four scoops. It's just milk powder dude.

There's a difference between a discussion and "I don't know what this is please spoon-feed me information that I could easily learn with a 5 second Google sesh"

>is it safe to eat food
The absolute state of dyels

>falling for the supplement jew

Chicken and eggs are cheaper lmao

>not taking 5 scoops per drink

I wouldn't. The stuff is known for containing trace amounts of metals.

>don't bother taking protein powder unless you're in a career that's extremely time restraining and you can't eat.
what if I just like protein shakes and have no problem spending on it dumbass?

Based

Fuck off. Everything you eat has trace metals, there's no getting away from eating shit. Protein powder is fine

I take between 5-6 scoops per day. Stomach may feel a little weird but otherwise it's fine. I don't have a huge appetite and sometimes it's easier to just chug a shake so I know I hit my macros.

You’re fine user

I take half a scoop, 4 times a week.
Am i being to timid with it? should i splunge it?

did just that for a year or so and nothing happened. is not necessary tho, so take 1 and dont waste money

RIP

Physical heart that pumps blood around the body =/= heart. The heart is the core of your soul, the very essence of your being, it is tied to the physical body until death. The soul is comprised of heart, mind, and will. Plato described it as spirit, reason and appetite. The will obeys the mind, and the mind obeys the heart.

Chocolate is garbage. Why do so many of you gulp down all the bluepill bullshit the media feeds you about nutrition?

If you don't notice the toll protein powder takes on your digestion, you're too used to eating garbage and don't know any better.

This doesn't even mention chocolate cake. This could apply to ANY food.

Of course you like chocolate flavored sweet tooth bullshit, but that doesn't make it better for you.

No. Only 2 a day. Max

you can eat as much whey protein as you want
it's literally food. a protein powder derived from milk.

most protein powders are full of lead, bpa, cadmium, and/or arsenic
