You have to pinch your shoulder blades together to activate the pecs and feel it. Imagine theres a walnut under your upper back on the bench and you're trying to pinch it with your back while you're benching

Increase volume. For where I'm at right now, this methodology has helped me progress.
3x5-8 Current working set max
3x5-8 Round weight to the next half plate. Repeat until back to 1pl8 (or lower) and lift to failure.
As an example, my current sets.
3x8 225 lbs
3x8 185 lbs
3x15 135 lbs, lift to failure on last set.
Also, make sure to eat enough protein. 150 grams minimum, big boy.

Well what are you doing besides benching to help you increase your bench? When I was stalling as a beginner all I did to increase was add pushups and dips and benched a bit more. Also you have to eat more as well and get the right amount of sleep too. Make sure your also pulling as much or more than what you already are.

Having done both, WRONG. Different people's butts smell different. Used to love doing that to my gf while hitting her from behind. If she caught me smelling the finger from her butt, she'd be all grossed out lol
