online coaches are either overpriced or inexperienced. Nobody needs a bespoke routine until they've made significant progress, and paying $140/month so someone can give you a form check once a week is just wasteful. Video your lifts, compare to good athletes with your build, and occasionally get some form checks when you think your form is good.

You can go for 3 days of snatch/C&J/squat and a fourth day of accessories. I don't really know if widely available programs are any good. If you got the bucks you can join PendlayWod and do the 4 day program or whatever floats your boat.

The thing about a 500dl is the absolute devastation to the body. A 220kg snatch to me is much more impressive, the technique, strength and speed required are exorbitant. But you have to give it to the deadlift, holding that weight is insane.

sort of necessary, yes. But don't get sucked into thinking they're the most important thing for a big total. They're a means to an end and treat them that way. You should be front/back squatting around once a week each at least with regular progression.

I think my shitty back squat is starting to show on my snatches. I can't get a good bottom position anymore. My hips/groin feels tight more so than before
Learn2squat, avoiding excercises you're bad at is not the answer. Work your weakness. Be mindful in your warm up sets. The goal of squatting is to get stronger legs. You need back squats for quad, glute and hamstring development as well as bracing and core stability.

Did 20/20 and went for a PR snatch afterwards, hit it. It's only 72,5kg but I'm happy. I'm sure I can do 75kg or more as I was pretty tired out already.
