Gasses in 1 minute, punching power comes from practicing punching not lifting weights.
Connor Rivera
why not, he may toss grown ass men like puppies
Colton Perez
he could practice
Logan Miller
He has shit mobility and shit endurance. He can't straighten out his arms. Too bulky. Wouldn't even be allowed in the UFC. Also lifts matter fuck all in fighting.
Asher Campbell
Drug testing
Easton Taylor
why wouldnt be allowed in the UFC if there is no weight limits
>there is no weight limits why would you say shit without knowing it
Luis Ortiz
Doesn’t mean he can take a punch though.
Ian Butler
There is a weight limit of 265lbs.
Brody Sanchez
btw OP, I will give you a serious answer he probably would do better than most beginners at his weight class, but keep in mind it is his weight class. regardless of body composition, if you are at your weightclass you are pretty much leveled on. muscles are helpful at fighting, but it has been proven over and over it is not the most important aspect of combat. I have practiced bjj, wrestling and judo, and even when I practiced against white belts who were much heavier and stronger than me I won, just because of experience, and I'm not even good. now imagine what I do with people my weight class. it would be the same for him, but against professionals who train from child.
if cyplenkov for some reason starts trainning seriously (he is old as shit for professional martial arts though) I see no reason why he wouldn't become a decent fighter, but never at UFC level,, maybe some minor leagues in russia. just look at Mariusz Pudzianowski. he does as fine as any other fatass. btw, mariusz WAS beaten by a fatass.
Aaron Cook
Something annoys me a lot about martial arts guys. They fucking HATE the idea of muscle and strength being useful to fighting, likely because it's hard to obtain.
They'll tell you anyone who trains martial arts would fuck up a powerlifter/strength athlete. Yeah no fucking shit. What they won't say is the comparison between a lifter and an average guy who ALSO HAS NO MARTIAL ARTS TRAINING. It's a fucking huge advantage, like a fucking ridiculous advantage that it's not even fair.
I will never understand why they compare people who have 0 combat experience to people who train for 1 on 1 combat, like fucking dunces. Put a guy who can squat 500 and bench 350 with decent cardio in a combat training environment, and he'll fucking maul the guy with no strength training but equivalent MA training.
This shit has been studied for decades, muscle and strength IS USEFUL and there's literally nothing you can do about it, it's in the literature.
>HURR MUSCLES MAKE U GAS QUICK >HURR YOUR BALLOONED BICEPS MAKE YOU CLUMSY AND SLOW It's literally the opposite, why the fuck would you think fat is more useful than the same weight in muscle?
Alexander Richardson
Look at that fucking bonce, it's like a cinderblock
Julian Harris
One more thing, they'll post videos of bodybuilders on a bunch of tren with 0 cardio and ALSO 0 COMBAT EXPERIENCE getting ruined by trained fighters and getting gassed after 30 seconds.
Now take the average muppet off the street and put him in the ring with a trained fighter, the fuck you think is going to happen? The same thing but worse, without any gas to begin with.
Justin Moore
Doesnt he have an HGH imbalance? Probably has an enlarged heart from it and the intense cardio of fighting might kill him.
Dylan Gutierrez
> just look at Mariusz Pudzianowski This shit always makes me laugh because people will use him as an example of why muscles are useless. Yeah Pudz wasn't the best fighter but he was decent. He went into MMA after decades of strength training and minimal MA training and did pretty well. Now take any schmuck and give him the same amount of MA training that Pudzianowski had and he'd get absolutely demolished, like literally wouldn't last a single round against any of the guys Pudzianowski fought. He's a great example of why HAVING strength and size is a fucking great advantage
Luke Perry
the issue is that you simply can't keep that strength/mass and still have the endurance for a real fight. getting your cardio to a point where you can actually last through a whole fight will cause the bodybuilding muscles to slough off like you never trained at all.
additionally, most guys who lift heavy weights and feel strong are actually only a bit bigger than medium, let's say anywhere from 170-200 pounds lean for an averageish sized male who's also a gym rat. they're nowhere close to the true mass monsters they like to push as representatives.
Xavier Watson
I'm not sure man look at mike tyson, guy was fucking jacked to fuck. weighed like 220 at 5'10 and the best fighter of all time
David Smith
>and the best fighter of all time No. He wasn't even the best boxer of all time, much less the best fighter.
James James
> real fight
Have you ever been in a "real fight"?
It lasts much shorter than your typical MMA fights.
I was in a serious fight back in college. The guy was a typical martial faggot, black belt in karate. He thought he could beat me despite me being bigger and stronger than him. He didnt know that I got a brown belt in Judo too.
But I beat the shit out of him without any fancy move. Just headbutts to his nose and chin while grabbing his jacket. That was it, no punch, no kick, no throw, no lock .... And the fight lasted for like 1 minute.
Andrew Turner
ok, maybe, but i was under the impression this thread was about combat sports, given the op. if we go your way, we might as well throw in weapons and "homies stomping people in the head", and then we might as well not have the thread at all.
Isaac Hall
He lacks flexibility, mobility, cardio, fighting technique. Probably doesn’t have the mental fortitude under pressure.
Hahahahahaha delusional ufc-cuck who doesnt understand how little advanced his "sport" is compared to boxing. Give your cuck sport about 100 years of athletes surpassing each other until you finally see someone comparable to any of the boxing greats. Floyd Mayweather is advanced refinement, there is very little refinement yet in ufc since were basically looking at the pioneers.
Evan Gutierrez
>there is very little refinement yet in ufc since were basically looking at the pioneers. No, the pioneers of the UFC were in the 90s, and even back then all the boxers who tried to compete in the UFC got wrecked easily by anyone who knew the basics of grappling.
I'm not sure who I would nominate to be the best fighter of all time. Probably Aleksandr Karelin. Maybe the Great Gama. Either of these guys would demolish anyone in the UFC and anyone in boxing history.
>I'm not sure who I would nominate to be the best fighter of all time. Probably Aleksandr Karelin. Maybe the Great Gama. Either of these guys would demolish anyone in the UFC and anyone in boxing history. retarded.
