the basis of whether or not a food is healthy is a trivial debate. foods that are protective, or have valuable photochemicals play such a minor role in health compared to lean body mass and execise proficiency. is a highly processed food item healthy? prolly not, but its cheap and easy to eat. ive seen outliers win national competitions eating dominos pizza and mcdonalds every day, and ive seen weak and tiny people advocate how important eating right is. who cares, life is a battle of genes, and you cant fight that.

you can't exercise away diseases, you can only avoid/fight them with diet or drugs that destroy more of your body than just the disease.

Good answer. But yeah, white bread isn't poisonous or anything, it's food.

Even if I'm eating it every day of my life?

every day? that changes everything, your head will explode in a burst of grey matter confetti

just replace with 9grain or sprouted and youll be fine

That's what i've been eating for almost a year, Im tired of it and I want to bulk easier

Whole wheat bread is just better for digestion

Honestly though make healthy choices now and you'll live a longer life. Leading cause of death in burger land is heart disease

Its inferior and tastes worse than whole grain

While youre right, you can still minmax. A dude with godtier genes will still do better with a healthy diet than a shit one.

To all the booger breath bro scientists here, glycemic index only matters if you're eating carbs by themselves, adding it to a complete meal slows down digestion anyways, eat whichever tastes fucking better to you (which we all know is white)

it's inferior micronutrient wise to whole grain bread pretty much

based scienceposter

fiber and fat slows down carb digestion

>eating bread, a processed food
>not just eating oats instead

This is why olives are healthy and olive oil isn't. Any processed foods you should avoid

>olive oil isn't healthy
u wot m8

What the fuck do you wanna hear nigger
it's not because it has gluten and has a shitty GI
it's empty micronutrient wise as well
if you reply to me telling me that only celiacs suffer from gluten, I will find you and fuck your oneitis in a bathroom stall
Currently cannot access all my material but gluten in the long term does fuck with your anxiety levels because of shitty stomach bacteria, and makes existent autism/ADHD worse
source: I do this for a living

If you want a good filler food just eat straight up white rice

impairs endothelial function. effect is muted if you consume it with balsamic vinegar which improves arterial function. but on its own its not healthy, plus calories out the ass. much better to just eat an olive

What defines processed though, one could say ground beef is processed. While another says a Marsbar is processed. one is relative harmless while the other is sugar and fats.

I'm the guy that posted babby
Why do you consider oats "healthy"? Because they reduce cholesterol? Enjoy your lowtest
Where did you even pull from that olive oil is not "healthy"?

There is no evidence that intolerance to gluten is anything more than a nocebo. It is only bad for celiacs.

basically any process in which something is diluted and additives are injected, or in which something is 'refined' wherein original parts were stripped away. thus yogurt or pickles are not processed in this definition
assuming you eat bread that doesn't have any shit put in it which rare among bread, it's still had many of the nutrients cooked out of it during the baking process. oats are superior in every way faggot suck a nigger dick
see

We can play semantics all day but in the end "processed" is just a buzzword for foods that you arbitrarily decided are bad based on an emotional response from the way you perceive the food was created. It doesn't matter how processed it is or what's "injected" into it, unless it's literally toxic or you eat too much of it, there's no such thing as "bad" or "unhealthy" foods, otherwise It's not a processed food or unprocessed for or food at all, It's poison.

So things that refined or diluted.
Also im not saying that oats arent superior to bread you cockmuncher. only that the definiton processed foods can be twisted to suit his or hers agenda.

desu i fucking love pasta and bread and will never stop

it's true autism to make your life miserable because of diet dogmas intended for fat people

Brainlet

>having good performance in a sports competition (when likely on roids) is the exact same thing as being healthy, short and long term

Who cares about filler food? Most that are considering giving up bread want a sandwich easy base replacement, not a different carb.

My dad ate white bread as a snack by itself all the time.

He died of colon cancer at 31, I kid you not.

Just eat multigrain wheat and never look back.

You're handicapped arent you?
