Are these good for long term cardio gains? And could they be good for lifting as well? Anyone use these?

Compared to normal breathing at sea level, how is your oxygen intake affected by
1) high altitude
2) air-limiting obstruction (such as a breathing mask)

olympic athletes train in high altitudes specifically because of the lower levels of oxygen there
the lower levels of oxygen there trigger the body to produce more red blood cells
this is a really short lasting effect anyway

A marathon runner told me it's fucking bullshit because you still need to breath anyway so you end up just breathing part of the CO2 you just exhaled.

If you want to exercise without breathing normally just go swimming
