Chinups are great for functional strength (can do about 16-18 bodyweight or 5 with ~100 lbs on a belt), I do variations exclusively but my arms in proportion to the rest of my body aren't all that big, if you wanna look like a big inflated fruit bowl then just do curls ad nauseum

I've not heard him say that - he says do curls and isolation otherwise biceps will lag which I do agree with.

I can do 5 pullups with lmao1pl8 but can only do concrentraion curls with 15kg for 5 reps. Biceps are small. I think I need to get to at least 2pl8 pullups and 25kg concentration curls before I see improvement.
