Alcohol calories

Hey Jow Forums

Does the body treat calories from alcohol the same way it does regular food ? Because if that's true I should be way fatter than I am right now. From personal experience I really find it hard to believe. Drinking 1000 calories from pure vodka does not make me gain weight while getting a large meal from Burger King definitely does.

Do you know of any serious studies done on the subject ?

Don't worry bros I've got this one, according to google her name is "girl".

You don't get fatter, you're just more used to the 1000cal from vodka, thus you don't get (as) bloated. Besides, it goes out faster - i.e. on top of the calories you ingested, you also need to shit the food out.

Tits too small

No, alcohol cals don't seem to affect the body as much due to differences in thermogenic properties. Beer seems somewhat the exception to this.

this elbows to pointy as well

That's my goal body for this summer. I just need to do more cardio (I also have small tits so it's ok).

Makes sense. Could it also be because alcohol makes me dehydrated ? So I lose water weight ?

I want to add that you shouldn't drink yourself to fatness and liver failure.
Limiting my drinking to weekends helped a lot in my cut

Lol

Kimberley Garner - rich bitch from a british reality show about rich people in london.

Alcoholic beverages that has a very very very low glycemic index, like whisky or vodka, dont turn into fat. It’s mostly alcohol and water. Pure alcohol calories can’t be processed by your body. Your liver turns the alcohol into acetic acid (vinegar) and then combines it with sodium to for an acetate that your kidneys can then filter from your blood and pee out. That’s why your so electrolyte depleted after heavy drinking, turning all of that alcohol into acetate that you can piss out.

The kicker is that alcohol consumption puts the livers metabolism of fats and carbohydrates into energy on pause. This means fats turn into greasy shits and carbs get stored as fat. That’s why beer is a really bad fucker because the alcohol puts everything on pause so the carbs get turned into fat. Whereas vodka or whisky or gin won’t fuck with you so badly if they’re not mixed because while they put shit on pause, they don’t themselves turn into additional calories.

Alcohol by itself will stall fat burning. Alcohol with carbs (in the drink or with food) will promote weight gain.

Alcohol has almost double the kcalories as sugar or protein, it has 7.
It also had zero nutritional benefit, and actively hampers protein synthesis and repair.
It's not good to have if you want to make decent gains

>Drinking 1000 calories from pure vodka does not make me gain weight while getting a large meal from Burger King definitely does.

So let's think about this.

Either:

>Yow own perhsonal expehweeance has completely upended the entire scientific establishment, derailing our entire understanding of human metabolism and thermodynamics

OR
>A more rigorous, controlled and empirical experiment would clearly rule out the discrepancies you've supposedly identified

>Drinking 1000 calories from pure vodka does not make me gain weight
Suuuuuure it doesn't, OP.
>rationalizing THIS HARD about your alcoholism
Get into fucking rehab or a 12-step program, substance-abuse-fag.

WHOM

Show me such an experiment then.

You want an honest answer? I am a frequent binge drinker but only occasionally do I cheat on my solid food diet. What happens is that the liquid calories still make you gain weight, but they don't make you feel bloated from having your belly so full of solid food.

Maybe, but I don't think you weight yourself exclusively while hungover, right? Or do you have a problem?

Beer has a lot of sugars in it I think that's why. The liver handles the alcohol and dumps the glucose in the fat cells around itself. Hence fatty liver disease

Post feet

Yeah, I'm feeling the same way. Life turned shittier and I went on a two week bender recently. I gained weight, but not as much as I feel I should have given what I was eating and drinking

The reason you gain a noticeable amount of weight from a burger king meal is because it has copious amounts of sodium. So you put on a lot of water weight.

Are you literally suggesting that in the year of our lord 2019 no one has measured the caloric content of alcohol and you've truly stumbled on some incredible loophole that totally violates our understanding of metabolism and no one else has ever seen alcohol drinkers not get fat eating the same number of calories?

I'd do awful things just for a quick sniff of that romper

I get pretty immediate shits when I drink anything. I feel like it's the same as lactose intolerance, not actually processing all the calories.

dafuck does this mean? i'm a boomer yeah whatever - waht the fuck do people mean when they post this?
