I hate you guys I fell for the squats meme and now my gains have been goblined.
I did w few bodyweight squats before my cardio on the stairmaster and I immediately felt stabbing pins and needles running up my legs and I could only manage half my cardio and felt like I was dying.
Even bending over was pure hell my legs were simultaneous cramping and spazzing and felt like I was being stabbed.
My heart rate was 180 the whole time and my lungs were filled with pain in every breath.
Squat goblins have one this round. I hate you guys
>don't want to be big just shredded Sure, cause that's a risk nobody wants to take, it's so easy to gain and get big. Man, I remember once when I made the mistake of squatting below parallel. The next week I instantly got 20lbs heavier with pure muscle mass. Luckily I had bought a treadmill and did my calories couting, lost it all in two days. But still, what a scare!
If it was really that easy, do you really think folks would turn to roids? The truth is that, even if you're doing everything really proper like; a good program, good diet, sleeping enough, avoiding injuries; any noticeably gains will take a long ass time.
