Being a beardlet

Honestly I don't know if those are that much better than a disposable.

freedom from (((gillette)))

Cheap as shit though. Blades at ten cents each if you buy in bulk, for a shave marginally better than that plastic shit once you get used to it.

I used one for a year or two, took a bit to get used to and I got some cuts and shit. Boxes of blades are inexpensive but I found some brands were really shitty I couldn’t even use them. I just shave with disposable razors again, they are simple and more comfortable honestly.

Womanhood

It's a bit harder to use but once you get it down it's way cheaper. I don't know why safety razors are a meme now it's the same shit

Once you get a hang of it, they're fantastic

They are SO much better

Costs 10% of disposables over time and gives you a closer shave. Get a fog-proof mirror and shave in the shower.

much better

they sucked even before they went full cuck

should have bought feathers instead of some shit brand or fakes

Close, cheap shaves for life. I shave with oil, and safety razors for the last 3 years. Never looked back. Start by shaving with the grain, then from the side, and if you feel like it finish by shaving against the grain. I shave after showering as it opens the pores. Keep your sling tight, and shave a little at a time to begin with so you can get a feel for the razor(reduces cuts)

remember to use butter for that extra close shave and savings.

as long as you dispose the razors after like 6 shaves max (3 on each side) then you're in for comfy and cosy trad shaving

Been using a barbershop style blade for the past two years. Just recently switched to one of these bad boys and the shave is much easier yet isnt as close but definitely better than jewlettes or commercial razors. Its also like 1/10 the price if that

Straight razors are /fa/ though

wrong board. who gives a shit about that?

Maybe so, but I felt like I was still getting the occasional knick here and there, but obviously that comes down to user error. Safety razor has been giving almost as clean shaves and is saving me even further time as i can rip through this shit and not worry about knicks.

Of course, that's more important
>he doesn't want to be surrounded by things that please him aesthetically

I got one from gf several years ago and never shaved with anything else since. The blades last long, are super cheap and you can use them as utility knife after they wear. Get a sample pack of blades - some are agressive and wear quick but you will get a clean shave in one pass with the grain. I even shave my balls with some of the smoother blades like Mühle.

like others have posted
they take some getting used to. The key is taking your time, letting the razor do the work and applying no pressure. It usually takes two passes to get a really smooth shave. the brush and cream/soap part isn't really neccesary but do it if you want. foam out a can works fine. For me, they give a markedly better shave, my skin looks smoother and less irritated, especially on the cheeks.

Why is everyone memeing about this recently?
maybe i should buy one to try it
Some practice with "letting the weight" do the work, once you get the hang of it you don't ever want to go back to the disposable trash shave.

>he doesn't know about Bic

.ettelliG

ah, so only incels use these?

thanks I guess I know to stay away then

Good shaves.

>fog-proof mirror
holy fuck those exist?!

>he doesn't know about the unspoken alliances

The best grooming decision you've made in years. Been using one for just over a year. I like the Feather Blades made in Japan.

Are you retarded? These have been around for decades, you think everyone that used one is an "incel"? Gotta be some kind of mongoloid man

I've been using one for a couple years now. I'm only 19 so before I used one I was using disposables or those meme razors with 6 blades but only a couple times a week, once I started shaving every morning I got a safety razor. I like it for multiple reasons

cheap - handle is maybe 20, blades are 50 cents each or less

Less dependent on manufacturing, less plastics, less environmental impact

Feels more old fashioned and looks nice, I like old things more than new ones in general I guess.

>50 cents each or less
Way cheaper than that, think 7-25 cents per blade.

I don't know why people say it gives you a closer shave or that it's harder to use. If I want a close shave I go against the grain, otherwise I get the same closeness with any razor, and as far as difficulty goes, I had no issues with it being sharper or harder to use.

Being this retarded

Asspain for minimal benefit.

Clipper shaving master race reporting for duty.

Totally better. Price aside, I rarely get irritation with them

Saving a shit ton over a lifetime and telling Gillette to fuck off - win win
