Has anyone here ever had any experience with these (bulk pure whey protein straight from the dairy manufacturer)?

Has anyone here ever had any experience with these (bulk pure whey protein straight from the dairy manufacturer)?

What was it like? How long does it take to go bad once the sack is opened?

For those that aren't aware, Glanbia are one of the world's largest whey protein manufacturers and providers. Most of the top selling whey protein brands in the market nowadays simply buy tons of the bulk whey and add flavor, aroma, emulsifiers, stabilizers and conservants, mix it all in a bottle and label them. Glanbia also owns Optimum Nutrition.

Bulk Supplements sells 20kg (44.2lbs) for $200 on Amazon.

It's plain, tasteless, and pure.

But can one person consume it alone in a 10-month span without it going bad? That's what I want to know.

a horse that good doesnt jumping haver that it have to be

100g/day
20kg = 20,000g
So that's 200 days
Or almost 7 months.

Yes.

>derived from onions
What kinda bs is this

If you store it right it should last 2 years.

what would be the right way to store?

use an empty fridge

>plain, tasteless, and pure
Everything I want in a gf tbqhwyf

>tfw no whey gf
why even lift anymore

18 month shelf life, store anywhere cool and dry. Tastes fine, cheaper in bulk.
Guarantee its being kept in worse conditions in the warehouse you bought it from, so don't sweat too much about storage

It has to be onions lecithin. that stuff is in everything processed, it gives a smooth fatty texture to stuff

Some people are using sunflower lecithin now.
It's to instantise it and make it easier to dissolve, I want whey without it though

YOU NEED TO EAT REAL FUCKING FOOD!

Whey is literally food you drooling retard.
If whey isn't food cheese isn't either

goes to show that there're rules and regelations for manifacturers to use plant based additives, so no matter what "100%" whey isn't a thing you're buying anytime soon that's for sure.

Where my /casein/ bros at?

FUCK WHEY AND FUCK TRANNIES

It's because most consumers are just that. Mindless consumers eating whatever meme powder is fed to them.

You could get 100% whey, but you'd have to jump through a few hoops. You buy it direct like OP stated because that's whey before any "Sport supplement" fuckery has occurred

I'll try it, Canadian protein is getting expensive, even with free shipping.

I really wish I had 20 kigs of protein powder to be honest about it family

I wanna cut a hole put a flesh light in that bag and fuck it

Whey digests fast, and casein digests slow, is that the main difference?

What country are you in? I don't see it on the US Amazon.

in short, yes
thats why most use casein over night.

A scoop of casein with a cup of skim milk before bed to look forward to gets me through the day. So thick if you let it sit in the fridge for awhile. Gotta chew that shit

Why do you people take whey when you could just drink milk to get whey and cas?

What's the point of these when you can just get 5KG bags from Bulkpowders/Myprotein for almost the same price?

>5kg bag
>The same price.

by "same price" I meant in the KG/Price ratio

Hijacking this thread to ask my own question.

The whey protein I have says that it uses onions lichen only for better mixing and it is not the actual source of protein. Should I trust this? Is it only a small amount?

The amount of lecithin can depend but usually it's half of a percent

Bulkpowders for example lists it as 0.4%

If you are unsure about the percentage, just contact the manufacturer/seller

I buy their 10kg bag. I eat a lot of it as a snack which probably isn't good. I honestly cant tell if its dog shit protein or not.

Yes. Also soi lecithin has no phytoestrogens. I supplement it because 2 tablespoons a day will make you cum like a firehose

I bought this pure whey about two months ago and did not regret it. Not because I saw gains from it (it's just one fourth of my protein intake), but because I had suspicions that the additives in regular whey (ON included) were messing with my sleep, which I confirmed since my insomnia disappeared. I blamed on the edulcorants and there wasn't a single brand that didn't added it except from this Glanbia.

It taste like unsweetened powdered milk. It isn't good nor bad.

Where can I buy a bag? Google searching Glanbia protein just gives me branded protein supplement products.
