Lot of it is down to genetics. I’m really vascular at 18-20% friends of mine are closer to 12-15 and have deep veins.

High volume heavy lifting. You have to make the blood rush to your muscles by doing heavy sets with a lot of reps, lower weight is for resting periods. Kind of like drop sets but switching from heavy to light weight.

if you want it permanent you need to excercise the arteries, holding your breath for at least 2 minutes for about 5 sets a day is a good way to start

nitrous oxide like OP said is pretty good but u need at least 2 cartridges and keep breathing into the balloon for no less than 3 minutes

when u feel comfortable with holding your breath for about 4-5 minutes you can also include neck hangs in your routine to force more blood into your arteries and therefore expanding them

make sure you have a strong rope though because you could injure your ankles if you fall from the ceiling, if youre on a budget a lan cable would also be fine as the copper centre should be strong enough to suspend your weight

I also heard (maybe from vitruvian physique channel?) that, if you train for the pump and you get "some minor" vascularity, over the subsequent sessions, it'll be more prominent.

So low sodium? I thought it would increase BP hence more vascularity. Or is it the other way around and you need a vasodilator?

I can see some on the sides of my calves at 16%, but thighs are fat af.

sodium causes more water retention in your skin, which will hide veins (like adding an extra blanket to a bed)

you can have a bit of the two, or you can only a lot of only one.
If you are a roider you can probably have nice vascularity even with higher bodyfat. If you are very lean, even without too much muscle you'll probably have some too.
Muscle maturity likely affects it too (lifting consistently for years), and as other anons pointed out, if you want to increase your vascularity momentarily cut out salt.
But, it is all up to genetics anyway, there are geared up, lean guys that have no vascularity besides the vein on the biceps, then there are the ones that have crazy vascularity even in abs, shoulders...
