Colon Health

Anybody else here done a colonic irrigation?

I recently lost a lot of weight but noticed a semi-pregnant or potbellied look (I'm a guy).

Suspected after a childhood / adolescent habit of holding my shit that I had a lot of stuff in there, so I booked a colonic irrigation and sure enough after 3 sessions a huge amount of old mucus, feces and even two fucking parasites came out.

Belly is much smaller now, will seek a few more sessions til I'm shitting freshwater and then continue my healthy diet.

Colonic hydrotherapist recommended no protein for dinner, only fibre, and to take some fibre supplement. After the sessions I'll take some anti-parasitic medication and probiotics to promote healthy gut flora.

I've noticed that my mood has become much lighter in the last few weeks, and I can't believe how much better I look and feel generally (more confident, could be placebo but still feels cathartic). There are studies on the "brain-gut axis" linking mood to general colon health and proper flora colonies.

I think I have the same problem.

experience the catharsis of seeing that shit come out in a plastic tube and then losing a couple inches from your waistline

>I've noticed that my mood has become much lighter
There is some researches shows that change in microbiome of the guts and more relaxed intestine will lead to seratonine secretion

nice, thanks for the study. fascinating stuff

Eat chia pudding and coffee on the regular and shit four times a day like i do

>childhood / adolescent habit of holding my shit
what
literaly anally retentive
i dont even want to ask why

so did they have to stick something up your bootyhole?

also do you shit more per day

it's actually common m8. i'm not even op and I used to do that.

Drink Epsom Salt and a lot of water, you won't stop shitting and farting for days.

It's to do with control / anxiety. Our bowels are the first thing we personally take control of in our lives.

yeah they stick a plastic tube up there. It's slightly uncomfortable. You feel bloated and then an urgent need to shit about 10 times in a session. Feels weird man.

I don't shit enough, no. I feel a large solid brick still in there. I still have more sessions to get through though. I look forward to them now

I've done enemas before when I'm terribly sick. Works like a charm to speed up my recovery.
Make sure you use warm water tho

i just remember reading something a few years back that you should be shitting 3 or 4 times per day. The logic was that babies, who have the cleanest colons/ digestive tracts, shit that much. I think that was memescience but for some reason I haven't forgot that.

When I got my first colonic irrigation, I became extremely sick for a day afterwards. I think there were some ancient toxins just sitting amongst my wrecked junkyard of a colon for years and they got stirred up and reabsorbed into my system.

I'll report back when I get my colon health to 100% and keep eating fibre

Im not comfortable with someone putting a tube into my anus.

I shit regularly every morning. Should I care about my colon health then?

did they remark on it being anything unusual or is this something that every person should be doing?

I have a history of holding my feces as a kid. I had clear, quite severe bloating of my belly and mood issues. In theory anybody can have a healthy colon their whole lives with a good diet. I'm sure it's not for everyone.

okay, well thanks for the reminder to eat more fibre user. good luck with your treatment.

Wish I lived in fucking America where you can do crazy shit like this. I go to my doctor for the same exact stuff after trying multiple different diets for multiple years and they are like "hmm doesn't seem like you have terminal stomach cancer or heavy internal bleeding, it means you are perfectly healthy"

"""free"""" """"healthcare"""""

I live in Europe and I pay 90 euros per session.

Care - yes
Worry - no

and about the parasites. I take mebendazole twice a year. Is that enough? what should I do to make sure my colon is free of worms?

Were you always bloated or was it something that came and went?

I was skelly mode until about the age of 21, when I started to get "fat". I believe it only increased slowly until now (age 28). it was only until I lost almost all my belly fat that I suspected something was up though, i thought I was just eating badly

>not using BPC-157 to repair your gut
topkek

my gut isn't ruptured, it's probably inflamed and coated in a thick layer of dried mucus

>tfw poor student

How many sessions are you going to do? Just enough to totally clear you out? Have you felt any different mentally?

I've heard good things about the brain-gut axis and gut microbiota. Would be interesting to see how an irrigation followed by eating a shitton of fermented foods (kimchi, kefir, etc) would impact my mental state.

I've done 3, apparently another 3 might be necessary. I will do as many as I have to do until I stop feeling bloated. A promising sign was that on my first session, I could barely feel the cold water -- I only felt it on my belly skin. During the 3rd session however, I could feel in detail the cold water moving through my colon itself, indicating it's cleared out and the walls can "breathe".

I don't want to do this forever of course. After The hydrotherapist thinks I'm done, I'll cultivate healthy diet etc. as best I can.

In terms of my mood, I've found a general lifting of the spirits, higher confidence and focus, but this may be due to other factors in my life. It just seems to coincide very closely with the process. I've had 1 per week for 3 weeks now.

Medical doctor Harriet Hall writes that "The colon cleanses itself"... The idea that its walls are coated with years-old hamburger residue is preposterous".

...

Cook your meat to the proper temperature. And don’t lick buttholes

Harriet Hall sounds like a dry cunt who doesnt speak at all to what I experienced in the past month!

Because they have a fast metabolism which is good, children and young animals have super fast metabolism, they can eat massive amounts without gaining weight, have tons of energy, fast heartbeats and high body temps, and heal wounds extremely quick

I took a vial of this but didn't notice anything, it was to cure my psoriasis which I suspect is related to leaky gut

Yep. Shit guy health inhibits your ability to intake vitamin b which leads to all sorts of psychological issues like depression and mood swings.

It does if you eat right.. but most Americans have shit diets.
