Should McDonalds be made illegal to save America from obesity?

Should McDonalds be made illegal to save America from obesity?

It would make no difference.

/bread

Like it some fast food and not Gluttony made obese people obese

>thinks McDonalds is the problem to the obesity problem in America
You may as well just start attacking newborns for increasing the amount of illiteracy.

nah just make a health fast food chain with competitive prices. Then limit how many times a day a person can buy it.

me at the right top

It's not McDonald's making Americant's obese, its American's making American's obese.

Obesity should be treated like it is in japan, just make it illegal

>health fast foot
>limit revenue
bro, you shouldn't open a business nor should you give dieting tips

Honestly your effects would be better suited in banning sugar.

it would take off regardless the issue is that fatties would eat your food and maintain weight because they have no portion control. Couple news stories later they've ruined your reputation because they have no self control. Making healthy food choices accessible everywhere and convenient will do the largest benefit to this country.

with limited revenue you more easily manage it as an npo

America is already doing that but the convenient "healthy" foods are all more expensive and less tasty compared to its unhealthy counterpart. Im pretty sure kale chips were being sold as one of the snacks in my works break room but no one ever buys them. They all buy beef jerky, chips, or those sweet bread roll stuff. The ones trying to be "healthy" are going to organic stores and spending more money just to appear healthy

>should x be illegal to save people from themselves
No, kill yourself statist.

it's easy to get "healthy" snacks it's less easy to get a healthy meal.

Isnt that what we already do?

Theres nothing wrong with beef jerky

maybe if you make it at home without sodium nitrate

if you want to be healthy, you dont go out to eat. Thats what having a healthy restaurant would never work. Whats the point of being both healthy and paying more to go out? You can easily be healthy and pay much less at home.

>Should we make X illegal to prevent Y
Fucking braindead moron cuck, kill yourself

NaNO3. I haven't practiced chemistry in over a year and I feel like I forgot most if not all that I learned. Even that polyatomic ion's overall charge almost got me.

Why do you care about anyone but yourself and your family? If others want to be fatties then let them be. Freedom of choice is more important than saying no McDonald's.

>blames McDonalds for American obesity
>wants to make it illegal

Go ahead, cut that one head of the hydra off, see how much difference it makes.

if it means that head is going to stop firing its water based projectiles at me while i am trying to fat roll my way towards its base so that i can slash it, its going to make a big difference.

Sugar needs to be banned.

It would have no effect at all. The fat masses would just choose another shitty restaurant to eat at.

Are you retarded? We literally colonized half the fucking globe for SUGAR, teas, spices, tobacco, and coffee. Fuck off m8

Yes. Sometimes you have to limit freedom to increase the freedom of the people.

Most fast food chains are actually seeing profit losses as zoomers and younger millennials are more health conscious and can't afford to eat out as often as boomers do.

When boomers die out, obesity will be a mostly a minority issue.

No, ignorant fat people and poor health choices need to be incessantly ridiculed until popular opinion forces fast food companies to change their philosophy to match demand.

Didn't McDonald's recently change their chicken mcnugget recipe to be 100% white meat with no preservatives? These companies are the going to change over night, but I feel like fast food places have definitely changed for the better over the past 10 years, especially with places like Chipotle dominating social media. A lot of Chipotle's philosophy is misguided (locally sourced meat non-GMO meat is fucking retarded) but at least it's forcing people to reconsider nutrition.

>being a statist cuck

That explains 40 week abortions i guess. Did they end up passing post-birth 'abortion' too? I know that virginia guy was pushing for it and Jew york were discussing it too.
t. Non-burger

no
let them gorge themselves

Fake news. Metabo law was a short term act (5 years total) which has since ended. It applied only to over 60s and any financial penalties were levied at employers and city councils.

Shut up nigger, before we send you back to 1700s

It already is.

wtf are you on about?

McDonald's isn't a cause it's a symptom.

You can get reasonable meals at most restaurants already anyways. It's not like you need a dedicated healthy restaurant. You ordered the grilled chicken or whatever instead of a rack of ribs if you're that worried about it but you still find yourself having to go out to eat.

Besides most calories people get from McDonald's aren't even in the burgers it's in the fucking soft drinks.
