What are the keys to getting a stronger deadlift besides just deadlifting? It seems to be tricky since there is no eccentric

Deadlift more

Post body discord faggot

Roids and lots of calories

I said besides just deadlifting

>since there is no eccentric
There is you weight dropping retard, controlled descent is the eccentric

RDL, hack squats, and rack pulls have some carryover. But you will still need to deadlift more to get better at deadlifting.

>rack pulls
Never post advice here again

Identifying what's weak for you. Paused deadlifts, deficit deadlifts, good mornings, front squats. Improving your setup and technique.

Literally nothing wrong with rack pulls if you're trying to bust through a DL plateau quickly.

Do leg press with the same stance width as your deadlift.

I know people here hate on leg press, but its honestly the best accessory (for me) for helping my strength breaking off the floor.
I'm up to 6plate dead and yet to really need any specialised training for lock-out, though I'm sure I will soon.

What you mean there is no eccentric? Don't just drop the barbell retard

Nothing but noob advice here but basically it depends on your sticking point OP. What’s the part of the lift that is preventing you from lifting more? Grip? Core tightness? Legs when you first start the pull? Hip drive or your back on the second half of the pull? What exercises will help your deadlift depends on where your weaknesses are. First identify where you’re weak and then do assitance exercises that work on that area.

>there is no eccentric

how to spot a fucking dyel ego lifter. lower your weights slowly and controlled you troglodyte

They're shit. Partials and lifting more with partials doesn't at all translate to lifting the same or more weight with a full range of motion lift. Further rack pulls are vastly inferior to block pulls, which mimic deadlifts more and don't risk damaging a barbell for your ego.

There is no eccentric portion to a deadlift. On RDLs, sure, but pulling from the floor, no.

Squats and gomad. Embrace the womanhood.

yes i'm sure doing the same movement in reverse has no benefit whatsoever, like every other exercise known to man.

It doesn't, go look up big deadlifters. Very few actually set the bar down gently.

>Never post advice here again

He's talking about below the knee rack pulls, not beta dwarfism's meme pulls.

See , rack pulls are strictly worse than block pulls and that's strictly worse than actually getting better positioning.

that doesn't mean it doesn't fucking develop your muscles, dingus, it means the entire point of their competition is to get the weight up. competition deadlift =/ actual work session deadlift.

It's shit and pointless. You can get a better training response by just doing more reps.

you can get an even better training response by both lowering your weight in a controlled manner AND doing more reps. it's like doing... double the fucking reps bro

how much do you pull ?

No, because you're training to lift the fucking weight not set it down like a faberge egg.

>It doesn't, go look up big deadlifters. Very few actually set the bar down gently.

at the moment, 375x10 reps since i'm cutting. controlled lowering.
>no, because *explains the exercise wrongly*
you're not training effectively because you're lazy. there's no excuse.

That's the exception, not the rule
youtu.be/IGaN66dcZEs

>i choose not to be the exception
weak ass faggot.

>weak faggot trying to tell somebody who pulls 250lbs more than him how to properly deadlift
Lmao

you pull more because you do half the exercise.

I'd love to see you even break 280kg off the ground weakfag

Pendlay rows, squats, hex bar deadlifts

>coping this fucking hard
just go do normal fucking deadlifts user it's not that hard and your back will be bigger as a result.

>cope
Why would I cope about being slightly above average strength?

Attached: VID_20181104_193240_4.webm (1080x1920, 2.88M)

because you're cheating the lift to get there, and not properly building mass as a result.

Project harder weakfag.

Make sure you're hitting all angles and supination/pronation of your hands when doing them.

Rack pulls help me get the top part of deadlifts down and if I'm having issues with the start of the motion I strengthen legs

>said the half repper

>said the guy who maxes out with my warmups
Weakfags like you that prioritize control and form over getting stronger never actually get strong.

romanian dead lifts

You are strictly a retard. Rack pulls have been shown to generate more fast twitch fibers than regular diddys.

continue to fail while i overtake you size and strength wise, friendo. literally already bigger than you. enjoy your free injuries.

also
>le cope

>already bigger
Unlikely, very.

[citation needed]

Do good mornings and bent rows and fixed hangs

>still coping

>no proof of size
>still projecting
Yikes dude, seek help.

Off the top of my head.

>YouTube videos from a literal who
That's not a citation

>no response

Predictable.

Squatting got me to a 315 deadlift my literal first time trying it so ill say that

i don't need help with my deadlift sir. i've explained this already

I didn't watch them because I don't give a shit about some literal.who saying his opinion

But it's shit so you might want it

I know you didn't because the guy cites multiple studies and experts. Too bad you're a zoomer with the attention span of a fly.

you will always be a half repping faggot. i'm sorry.

No.
No.

If you can’t deadlift over 500-550 there is absolutely no reason to do deadlift assistance. If your squatting and rowing that is enough.

Just deadlift more and change the rep/set schemes. Have a plan over months for how your going to get there.

Try 5x5, at 60%
3x3 at 75%
It also depends what level your at with your training.
If you can’t add to you deadlift 2x per week, switch to 1x per week and add 5lbs over the week.
If your a beginner run SS for your deadlift
Or just do 5/3/1 boring but big as written

youtu.be/m-zukf8mCCs

Wrong. Some dumb fuck on YouTube doesn't carry any actual weight behind his words.

t. Weak fag

Except he doesn't always do that. He's exaggerating it to make sure he gets white lights.

Heavy af RDL, core-exercises and actually lat-work have helped me a bunch with the first part of the lift. Maybe snatch-grip deadlifts too but not sure.
For core I do a lot of variations on hanging leg raises.

Bent over rows will help with bar speed off the floor

t. half rep coper
