120KG 1RM a few months ago.
Then went on a cut and lost a lot of strength.

I just maintain at sets of around 2pl8. With my job and martial arts trying to progress on squats again just takes too much out of me. Most I did was 3pl8.

With either pullups or rows each day. It recently was changed. Intensity, number of sets and number of reps for each exercise varies depending on mesocycle.

385Kg is my personal best. I threw on the track team in high school and college. That was 7 years ago. The last time I 1RM’d was a couple of years ago at 715lbs.

My typical routine to gain strength is your basic 5x5; 5x3; 5x4,3,2,1 with auxiliary box squats or chains, whatever breaks the monotony. Power cleans also help me with my squat a lot. Squat and Cleans have a synergistic effect on one another.

a good way to avoid feeling "scared" or anxious from squatting heavy is to warm up a lot and slowly increase weight on every set you do, reducing the reps, and if the bar feels reaaal heavy on your back as you unrack it and walk a few steps back you will know it's too heavy and you should just rack it and not risk anything.
