you don't get good looking on a novice routine that lasts a few months simply because a few months is not enough time to do everything you need. to become good looking you need to lift long enough to acquire a decent amount of muscle mass, and you have to cut long enough to lose whatever amount of fat you need to lose.
stronglifts is a pretty good start on that journey

See when you post this routine, are you talking about splitting this up into A/B routines? For example, A would be bench, squat and row, and B would be OHP, chin ups and deadlift?
