How to best work obliques and these accessory muscles?
Nigga just do your pull-ups.
serratus anterior
ohp, incline bench, push ups, pull overs, punching in general
obliques
do an actual sport you gym rat
Russian twists with a 25 lb plate for obliques
Git good at overhead pressing for serratus
Nobody should have to tell you how to grow your lats
Opinions on “side sit-ups” and “side shrugs” that ‘focus’ on the obliques ?
Are they memes to snap your spine, or with good form will they actually properly contract that muscle in good isolation?
my serratus anterior got pretty defined by just doing my boxing routine, dunno what that means though
It’s probably better to do some hanging leg raises
Pullups and rows, my dude
Frank Zane swore by pullovers for her serratus
>The function of the serratus anterior muscle is to allow the forward rotation of the arm and to pull the scapula forward and around the rib cage. The scapula is able to move laterally due to the serratus anterior muscle, which is vital for the elevation of the arm. The serratus anterior muscle also allows the upward rotation of the arm, which allows a person to lift items over their head.[1]When the shoulder blade is in fixed position , e.g: breathing after a sprint , the serratus anterior lifts the ribcage and thus supports breathing
Wood choppers with cable with controlled movements. Don't try to ego lift on this one. Keep the weight lower and controllable. 4x15 reps in L>R and R>L

Do bench with straight arms and push it up with just your shoulders
Do you mean the lats or serratus anterior?

Mine aren't that great, but the serratus is prob my favorite muscle. Definitely something most normies don't know about. I think planking and other gymnast drills helped develop mine.
