My man sippin on Yuengling Lager, holla

Damn that looks comfy

You should have at least 4 times his muscle mass to actually do that shirtless though

I started fucking around with weights at 21, but only really got into it seriously after college. I wish I'd started in high school.

Calisthenics at 12 or 13, lifting at 13 or 14. As it should be.

Messed around in my late teens and was ottermode with decent strength, had a kid and did nothing for years, been on and off last few years with the last 3 months being the most consistent with diet and exercise.

Aniki didn't start until 24
never too late

Looks like he's going for boomer mode. Just needs to tweak the drink a bit and grow some body hair

25, I'm 27 now.

>You should have at least 4 times his muscle mass to actually do that shirtless though
That's why that guy is awesome. He just doesn't give a fuck. He's the Chad and the pajeet is the uptight Virgin in that pic.

Man if I could back I would do so much differently. I’d start doing calisthenics and bodyweight shit at like 10, weights at 14. I religiously do cardio. I’d also do boxing or bjj starting at like 10 and then at around 18 start cycling test just to be that much better.

Calisthenics 14.
Lifting 16.
29 now.
No.

16, thank fuck.

>This man isn't attractive enough for me
Welp I sure enjoyed my stay on this gay hook up board.

Body dysmorphia cope

Yes, I'd start lifting seriously at 10 or 11. There was a kid in 7th grade who was a legend at school because he could already bench press 250 lb and had huge biceps at the age of 12. His dad must have been Jow Forums. I was raised by an out of shape single mom, so there wasn't much hope for me.

19 but should've been 16

Came here to post this.
Gotta love Yuengling

Wow I actually needed to read that. Thanks user. We really are gonna all make it.

Started working out at 16. Stuck with it til I was 19 or 20. Felt like I reached my natty limit at that point or just sorta grew out of it after getting a social life going. Now as a 26 year old boomer I’m getting back into it and blowing up fast with strength levels I didn’t have before. I’m glad I started when I did. Only thing I would have changed was not dropping it for 5-6 years

13-15
19-21
24-?
ive never escaped dyel mode, but i was starting to look juicy at 21. hoping it sticks this time and i dont revert to depressive alcoholic anorexic mode

Wait you guys actually lift? Thought that was just a meme

I started lifting at 21
If I could go back in time I would have started at 15 or 16
College is the best time to be a fit guy and it wasn't until my last semester of senior year that I actually started looking good so I never really got the chance to take advantage of it
If I had started lifting at 15 or 16 I would have been swole by the time I hit college

desu a kinda fat dude would probably pull it off best

Starting at 27. The number of posture exercises and stretches I have to do makes the gym take ~3 hours if you include at the gym, morning joint health, and nighttime stretching.

I fucking hate it. Start lifting seriously now kids, or you'll regret it.

I started lifting at 20 (now 26). I should have started at like 16, when my friend offered to help me get started because he thought I'd like it. I didn't believe him at the time, but he was right. He's a good lifter, and his coaching would have prevented some injuries and slow progress that I experienced when I eventually started with no coaching other than Jow Forums and YouTube.

RIP my knee, shoulder, back, wrist, and embarrassing bench press. My stubbornness and closed-minded nature were what did me in, and I had a friend right there who could have prevented it.

Don't be like me, anons.

Nice

Started when I was fifteen.

I had to make a change because my weight was approaching that of my old and kind of fat father. I weighed 230 lbs. None of it was muscle.

I wish I watched what I ate more in life and spent more time outside, but it was all simple carbon fried trash and videogames from 10 yrs old and onward.

Started off with just running and doing elliptical machine at the YMCA. From there I gradually started going into the weight room (just to hit bi's and tri's).

Then I hit cegep (post secondary education here) and took weightlifting as a gym class. Teacher was fucking based and just gave us straight no bullshit lifting advice. Seeing as how I was one of the only students to not just blow it off like too many did in highschool, he told me I should join the rugby team because they're always looking for players.

From there I got a great strength base and when I started university, I really focused my efforts and took dieting necessary and got sick gains and am currently stronger than I ever was.

Feels good. Got into it right on time.

Seems like a pretty average kid, did he play soccer or something?

>What age did you start lifting Jow Forums?

>If you could go back would you start earlier?
I'd start at 16 since I was already 6'1" and I only grew one more inch at the end of high school.

I got introduced to it at 11 but only really started at 13

>16
Fuck yes, I would start at like 14.

>implying you can ever be comfy with that fake thot mentality

14-15 when I started to grow slower, and I wouldn't start earlier, I like to be tall

I lifted for 2 years when I was 17, but I felt for the splitbro meme as a beginner and never achieved an aesthetic physique

I started lifting this year that I'm 29, I'll be 30 in a few months. I'm seeing good results with full body workout routine

Anyone who started lifting at 29-30yo? if so please post body for some extra insipiration ¿

Seriously? Like steady and following programs?

32. 35 now. Gained about 50 pounds.

I started lifting early so got good strength gains and experience but sadly was too much of a bitch to get my diet and cardio in order and ended up being a Permabulk fatass.. I am 21 now and trying to remedy this.

Nope

What if you don't wanna star in gay hood porn?

I

One of those guys died of cancer just over a month ago (far right). Quite a shame. The middle guy is a 7'1 center, his dad had a Bowflex in their basement and we would all workout there on occasion.
Never change.

I'm 20 and I haven't even started lifting yet.

i started when i was 14, wish i started at 13 maybe

Nah if he was jacked then he would just come off as attention seeking.
This guy has the body and attitude of being chill and not giving a fuck

it aint the lager you virgin

Yup, you guessed it. Soccer gives you big biceps and a huge bench press at age 12.

26
absolutely! Pretty much wasted my best years

23

Was always chubby/fat but in denial (5'10" 180-190 lbs DYEL)
Started casually going to a planet fitness for 2 and a half years. Would only go to the gym 2-4 times a week. Started on the elliptical/bike at first and then eventually went to the weight room.
Finally started lifting at a "real" gym about 6 months ago. Consistently going 6 days a week. I feel like I made more progress in these last 6 months than I did in the whole 30 months before that.

Fucking motivational.
Thanks, user.
