i get this too man, shit sucks it feels like its negatively impacting my ability to get a job and make friends and shit too, lifting seems to help for a couple hours following a good session tho

You're probably not working out enough or eating right. You need some stimulation. Add some more cardio to your routine.

I think you wanna get familiar with Vipassana meditation.

There's a couple of good apps to get you going. Headspace is nice but I think Sam Harris' Waking Up app is better and the easiest way to get into meditation. They're both subscription based but honestly easily worth the money imo. If you don't want to invest any money, I'd learn about Vipassana through Google and Youtube.

There's nothing magical about meditation. You're basically instructed to focus on different sensations: sounds, breath, feelings in your body an so forth.. Sounds super easy but you'll notice it's actually very hard to maintain focus for even short moments. Eventually it'll get easier.

I think regular meditation practice is one of the best habits I've taken up recently. Highly recommend.

You should also make sure you sleep enough and eat nutritious food. Maybe you can get crazy and do some cardio as well.

Cut weight, I was a permabulker for 6 years, finally fucking cut and trimmed off around 15 pounds of mainly fat and after losing the fat I realized how shitty I used to mentally feel, I had that feeling of being in a cloud all the time and being fatigued, making me spend 1.5 hours doing a simple 5x5 workout.

I’d that doesn’t work change up your diet, I’ve noticed if I ever eat sweets I feel like absolute shit the next day, eat a well balanced diet, avoid white rice, I switched to essentially a paleo diet but just eat stuff like chicken breasts/thighs, fish fillets, steak, venison, along with potatoes, carrots and kale, spinach, green beans or asparagus for my greens with each meal. Don’t skip breakfast if you do, I’d say if you’re trying OMAD or imf put that on hold, eat a healthy breakfast, few eggs, some oatmeal with a handful of fruits inside with a cup of tea or coffee. Make sure you’re getting ~8 hours of sleep but don’t oversleep, I found the weekends when I sleep for like 12 hours I feel lazy as shit the next day, go to sleep early and wake up early

Oh yeah, highly recommend this shit too. Fresh air and nature does wonders to you man.

sleep an HONEST 8 hours every night (that means turning the computer off 10 hours before you want to get up, brushing your teeth 9 hours before you want to wake up, and getting in bed with a book at least 8.75 hours before you want to get up. Also, cold showers.

Stopping drug is the easy first decision. Nothing destroys your brain as easy as them.
Sleeping more is the easy second decision. Not sleeping kills. If you want to read up on all the benefits of sleeping and dangers of not sleeping enough 'Why we sleep' by Matthew Walker is pretty good.
On top of that start to learn something. Anything you want as long as you learn and use your brain. Your brain too produces new cells but only when you learn. If you don't use your brain cognitive decline will happen.

How much do you sleep? Do you play a lot of videogames? Maybe you also smoke?

Try to spend minimum amount of time on Internet in general, start to read books in your spare time. Also try to avoid social media, your friends. During the time where you try to change things, I have found that your friends can be of negative influence. Just my personal experience, regardless, be wary of it.
