What is this and can I grow it in Usda zone 6?
It's a japanese plant native to a few southern islands. A member of the carrot plant family. The leaves and stems are edible raw.
Known for its rapid regeneration, allegedly can regrow a leaf within a day after picking (probably a little bit of an exaggeration but we).
It can grow in zone 6-12, but you may need to take it inside or do something special if it gets really really cold.

Most of the weight you purchase at that store is stems. When you look at that, its expensive. One day, I realize, I'm a fucking adult. I don't have to eat broccoli. I don't have to eat what the internet tells me. There are plenty of other vegetables to eat. Those vegetables are fine. So, I don't force feed myself broccoli anymore, and I am happy.
Eat the stem dude. Also roast it in the oven with some olive oil, shit is amazing. 430 degrees Fahrenheit for about 30 minutes or so. Add some salt.
